    I have one of these but a different brand, Personally I would find a compound sliding saw it’s more versatile and I regret not getting one after using my sons

    Don't worry your sons is yours don't think he will mind you using it.

    Spend a bit more on a slider - you'll soon regret not doing so unless you work only on very small pieces.
