About this deal

- Unlike the "new customer" deals this one is also open to existing customers. Click the "buy" button and the site will prompt you to log in. Once you are logged in it will show the "plan details" with "Please provide the required missing information." - click this then click "An existing Lebara SIM card".
- New customers need to create a Lebara account. Click "Buy", click "Register now", enter your email and password and check "I'm not a robot", click "Register", on "link phone number" click "skip", on "attach your sim" click "Go back to homepage", click basket, click "Please provide the required missing information.", then "A new SIM card". According to comments here, Lebara have refused to honour purchases by new customers using this order route. One alternative, which has been reported to work, is to acquire a Lebara SIM and then switch to the 50GB plan as an "existing customer" (details above). A retail Lebara SIM pack should cost around £1 from a local shop or online, or you can sign up to any plan on Lebara's web site and then upgrade to the 50GB plan after receiving your SIM.
- No annual price rise in 2024
- 30 day plan

We travel quite a lot but very rarely make phone calls we use messenger or WhatsApp for calls. Does that huge list of countries allow data usage as well as calls?
    t3r4's avatar
No. The list of countries is for International Calls outbound from the UK - not roaming.

Roaming is included in EU, EEA and India ONLY. Other countries you have to have a bundle, which is on their site. The rates are ok, not the cheapest, but in most cases no where near the worst.

Great deal. Just upgraded my previous Uswitch 30gb exclusive currently paying £8.95.

This is a no brainer for 5p extra for 20gb more data. As post describes you can port your existing Lebara number straight to this deal, no messing with porting out and back again.

Also did a live chat as my existing plan renews tomorrow but payment has been taken, agent refunded me the £8.95. Great service from Lebara.

And to cap it all Lebara wifi calling finally works on my Sony Xperia 1 iv (another HUKD mega deal).

Thanks for the tip. I just did exactly the same thing and got the refund through live chat.

I changed last week to the Lebara 99p 6 month deal for 15GB. I changed 3 family sims. The signal is much better than EE, THREE and 02. All existing numbers ported over without any issues., very pleased saving us nearly £30 a month and better service..
  4. cylonraider's avatar
Sorry how do you get this for a new user? When registering it keeps asking for a lebara number.
    t3r4's avatar
If you can't get it to work, just get yourself the cheap £1.49 intro plan in the other offer - once you run out of data, add this plan as any plan change is immediate.
  5. mattbrownie's avatar
How easy is it to move your existing number to this?
    jaceyar's avatar
Request a switching code by text. Simply text 'PAC' for free to 65075 on any network and you'll be sent your 'porting authorisation code' (PAC) immediately by text so you can keep your number. To get a new number, text 'STAC' to 75075.

Anyone know when this deal expires?
    Animal5865's avatar
It's a permanent deal on their site.
  7. Darkman's avatar
Thanks, currently on 20gb for £8 so more than double for £1 is great!
    Hutchyy's avatar
Only if you use more than 20gb 🤷
  8. t3r4's avatar
Not too bad, good to see Lebara getting into the mid-data space.

Previously their deals above about 15GB were very poor. Still beaten by TalkMobile who have 50GB for £7.95 a month, but for a regular traveller the increased roaming on Lebara could be worth it.
    jnm21's avatar
    21GB (£7.95) not 15GB. There was a decent 30GB deal recently - £8.90 IIRC.
  9. malcoa's avatar
Do these Do international roaming for data?
    jnm21's avatar
They have inclusive EEA (EU plus Norway & Iceland IIRC) Roaming. There is very limited inclusive India roaming. The do do some packs for other places too. Generally their paid for Roaming is costly - to be used very sparingly.

I was wondering the same. What are the charges for using the Data in the USA/Canada
  11. Vyom_Kumar's avatar
What is I have a plan already running? If I recharge this, will it override or work from next month?
    Mr.Plow's avatar
It will start straight away so don't do it unless you've run out of allowances, I had to purchase a new plan as I ran out of data, the old plan still showed on my Lebara dashboard until it's natural expiry date which I thought was strange though I assumed the new one would cancel it.

Oh also I'd turn off auto renew for your existing plan if you're considering purchasing a different one just in case you forget to do so and it renews.
  12. 123cat123cat's avatar
I'm really nervous and I wonder if I could check something. I was with Lebera on the 15 gig deal I bought the new 50 gig deal, in my control panel on the app I can see that my old number has been taken off auto renew and if I scroll down I can see the new 50 gig. But I'm really nervous in case I've done something wrong because when the auto renew does not kick in, is there a chance my number could be lost, is there some other step to take to make absolutely sure?

If you just upgraded for new bundle without ordering sim than You are fine. Check with them by chatting to be sure. (edited)

Only £8 on ID Mobile and you get a £20 Amazon voucher if you go via MSE.
    jnm21's avatar
Problem is that for many (most?) the three based signal is terrible.
  14. chamelion's avatar
Kicks the ass of those nO2 deals
  15. squeakybot's avatar
Talkmobile do 50gb data for 7.95. Went for that deal
    Wii89's avatar
I went for the talkmobile deal for my tablet. 50gb for 7.95.
  16. alchemistkevin's avatar
    Do they do eSIM’s yet?
    Dyslexic_Dog's avatar
    Only in Yorkshire I think!
  17. ferkh10's avatar
What’s their signal quality like? I’m on nO2 so literally anything is an improvement
    chigz-'s avatar
They run on vodafone. It depends what they’re like for you.
  18. djf48's avatar
Converted my £9 for 15Gb to this deal - no change in price, a no-brainer. May not use all that data, but better to have it and not need it...

    Thanks very much to OP
  19. drumdam's avatar
What network does this piggy back on and how EU data is free as I just signed up to a 30 day Talkmobile for £7.95 pm for 50gb
    Sa_We's avatar
    Vodafone
  20. Glidezilla's avatar
I wonder, when they will make it 100GB of data for a Tenner?
    Animal5865's avatar
Talkmobile offer £10/100gb every so often my mate has it on 30days.
  21. jasonm225's avatar
Brill offer I was on £1 for 15 GB, but that's time-limited I would prefer to have a longer term offer smarty may have been an option, but they are rubbish in my area with more data thanks OP (edited)
  22. fab3rge's avatar
I picked this deal up for £2 a month on U witch
    Unbelievable offer
    fab3rge's avatar
Sorry I misread I thought it said 5GB data
Yeah £9 for 5-0 GB is good
  23. barnehurst's avatar
Beware their customer service is awful

I've been a customer for 5 years, so I know
    theRainMan's avatar
I've switched between them and Voxi, Talkmobile a few times over the years. No issues with Lebara as such. Voxi I had a problem with creating an account or web account but no porting issues. Curious to see what problems you had with Lebara.
  24. Bunnster's avatar

How long will this offer be live for? I have a Lebara plan I'd like to upgrade to this nearer it's monthly billing date
    TheChiefExecutive's avatar
Try the chat - agents are helpful
  28. lazyboy's avatar
Thank you. Easily the best deal I have seen on Lebara.
  29. dude786's avatar
Does anyone know if Lebara allow to tether data, if so, is there a cap?
    Ross81's avatar
I currently have my £9.82pm unlimited data sim in a mobile broadband router serving as home broadband and no issues.
Edit ***its £9.98 and was the deal posted here around Feb/Mar (edited)
  30. sdotpdot's avatar
    Thanks - I just went from 21 GB £7.95 to 50gb £9. A no brainer
  31. slybunda's avatar
Is this 9 quid for a few months then goes up in price?
I pay the 7.95 for 21 gig so this is a top deal
    graham321's avatar
No, it’s the ongoing price. A Lebara introductory offer is more like 99p a month.
  32. zinxyx's avatar
In fact, you don't need to contact CS. When you click the link and the site opens, login to your account and select the number you want to switch.
Follow the prompts and repeat the process for any other numbers on the account.

That's what I did , without any issues.
  33. nickyjg's avatar
I can't seem to apply this to one of my sims (daughter).. It keeps wanting to check out as a purchase to apply to the sim listed at the top of my linked sims.. 🤦
    luke_coverdale's avatar
Agree and I have noticed the same issue, I have 3 sims linked to my account but it will only allow me to select the top one in the list by default, the other 2 are not showing as an option. I guess in this case a conversation with live chat should be able to do this as others have mentioned this below.
  34. TheOddDeal's avatar
Such a good deal. Any downsides like getting more scam calls than usual? I’ve heard lebara sell all your details more so than other major networks, like O2, Vodaphone etc, to be able to give these good deals. Could be BS though
    andylol's avatar
Been on Lebara on and off for last couple years (deal switching and porting in / out between different providers). Haven't really received any more spam calls than usual (maybe like 1 a month?) (edited)
  35. ashleytroy1's avatar
You can use your plan allowances as you would in the UK (up to 30GB of data on the Unlimited plan) for no extra charge.

Wish I wasn’t in contract as I would be snapping this us!
  36. cylonraider's avatar
Well, that was a bit naff, ordered this deal on the 16th, no SIM has arrived till date, chatted with an agent and tells me it hasn't been processed, they initiated a refund, hope that goes through.! Might try and re-order again.
    gilderoyr7's avatar
Same here. Did you get a sim eventually?
  37. heluva's avatar
Although i loged in, it asks me for payment and address info, dont see "an existing lebara sim card" to replace current plan
    heluva's avatar
How do i replace my current lebara plan with this one ?
  38. 123cat123cat's avatar
Bit confused, I'm trying to read through the messages. If I have a current deal with these guys can I just get them to upgrade it. Or at least if I start this as a new deal, will they port my number off from my existing contract. I currently have their 99 deal for the last 4 months. My main priority is not losing my number.
    Rahan's avatar
Yes, it will upgrade your plan to this one. You need to log in when it asks you.
  39. ivan_glojene's avatar
Is this deal still active please
    Rahan's avatar
The deal doesn't state an end date so as long as you can click through, add it to the basket and purchase it then it should be available.
  40. bells0's avatar
Done too, my 15g @ £7.90 was due to renew tomorrow, extra £1.10 for 35g was a no brainer even if i never use 15g!! Come in handy some day
    Rahan's avatar
Only worth it if you sometimes run out of data on the 15GB plan.
