***Update 28th April, available to order again at £308.90 with a shorter delivery date in May***

Deal is back again, a little cheaper this time but with a slightly longer lead time. Fee free price is ~£296 inc. shipping so worth while saving if you have that option.

IMO worth the wait if you aren't building tomorrow/soon, and Amazon lead times are normally pulled in for tech products.

Don't forget to check for other deals like RAM etc. at the same time as sometimes the shipping comes down a bit.

How does the warranty work with purchases from Amazon.de? Is there one? Because if I'm spending this much on parts I'd rather spend a little more for peace of mind

It's an AMD retail boxed part so you can claim the full 3 years directly with AMD without involving Amazon.

I put an Nh-d15 on mine and realised after what a waste of money that was. Could have gone with a much cheaper Thermalright model… and I paid £370 for my processor! So in that price you get a cooler and the processor for less than I paid for the processor alone.

I've got the TR phantom spirit Evo . Excellent for £40

Never again AMD. The number of issues is crazy. I can't wait to go back to Intel.

Phew, lucky you going back to Intel getting away from all the issues... oh wait...

Simply love the fact it's one of the highest end gaming CPUs and I'm using a low profile cooler

Pfft, it's way too new for that award. 5800X3D maybe, Q6600 maybe, E6300 maybe, Athlon 64 3000 (Venice), Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton), Duron 700, Celeron 300A, could go back a little further.

Indeed, I've ordered a couple more as I've already used the last ones. Be interesting to see how much of an uplift the 9000 series is against this, e.g. 9600X vs 7300X3D will the X3D retain the lead due to 3D Cache.

How long will delivery take? Any issues with import fees or anything like that?
    Notmyrealname1985_'s avatar
Deliver was showing 11-12th of July lol. Price seems to have changed anyway.

Edit: Price hasn't changed sorry, but it's probably a bit of a niche audience of people who want to wait 2+ months for something to save £20 over the Palicomp price. (edited)

What are the chances for the price to drop to this in the UK?
    Uncommon.Sense's avatar
    Author
Slim unless you get one with an eBay code before the retailer hikes the price on the day the code kicks in.
