Good price for this CPU, cheaper with a fee free card.
Zen 4 is here. AMD's 7000 Series architecture with mere 5 nm manufacturing process pushes new levels of performance and efficiency. It supports PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 memory - today's fresh standards. That means you're well set for years of component upgrades around this chip. The lowered TDP makes this processor easier to cool, and it comes with the Wraith Stealth cooler – one less thing to worry about when you're building your system. The Ryzen 5 is perfect for all you PC enthusiasts – it packs more bang for your buck, whether you're going to game, create or code.

Good to know

- The integrated Radeon graphics chip is good enough for smooth Full HD gaming in titles like CS:GO or DOTA
- You can easily overclock the already super-high frequencies for even more power
- With AMD EXPO you can overclock even the RAM frequencies with just a few clicks.

  • 6 Cores, 12 Threads
  • Socket: AM5

I’d say that’s a pretty big price difference between UK and Germany (near enough 20%) . Wonder if we’ll see these prices from UK retailers soon?

The price has been getting lower since Amazon Germany is price-matching Mind factory (a massive PC retailer in Germany)

you can easily find a ryzen 7 7700 on aliexpress for £150 incl shipping or if theres coupons for around £138, i have tried to post deal here but it gets taken down because the aliexpress store isnt old enough. i bought one here for just over £138 and have had no issues. theres no cooler though (edited)

Up until few weeks ago, I was a great fan on AliExpress and a loyal customer for years. Until I got massively ripped off. What I'm going to say now is to never, ever buy anything worth more than 20$-30$ on Ali. Everything is great until that one moment when it isn't and they show you the middle finger.

Was the tenner extra I paid for the 7600x worth it from the other day?

    It's a tenner, don't sweat it.

I know this is a Ryzen 5 but i assure you it's an absolute powerhouse. Zen 4 and DDR5 (despite what some miserable clueless posters will tell you) absolutely great CPU for entry level gaming PCs.

Hmmmm, wondering if this'll go lower or should I just wait for the 9000 series :/

Considering the MSRP was $289 at lunch it's not going any lower. The MSRP will probably reset after it launches this happened during Ryzen 3000 and 5000.
