Has anyone got any step by step guide on how I could go about sorting the VPN out please? I see some deals sometimes that talk about VPNs but this is the first one I'd like to get but have no idea how to go about it.

AuthorYou need to have a VPN provider already that has Indonesian connection.
VPN provider can be Surfshark, NordVPN, VPN Unlimited, Windscribe etc... You can see a list of reputable VPN providers here:

If you don't want to pay for a VPN, there should be free Indonesian VPN out there if you Google them or someone here can recommend one..
Update: someone recommended Tunnel Bear for free
Once you have a VPN provider that can provide Indonesian connection, switch on first and click "Get deal". You should see it coming up as US$5 and pay.
You don't need to be connected to the VPN after you have subscribed. (edited)

Do I need to be logged in via Indonesia every time I use it, or can I just switch my VPN location to Indonesia, subscribe, and then switch back to my regular location?AuthorNever a dumb question. You only need to be logged in via Indonesia VPN when subscribing. You don’t need any VPN at all when using the app with the subscription.
Be aware this auto-renews by default, you can log into the website to turn off the autorenewal if you don't want this

If you have an all trails sub already with lots of trails saved, I got the cheap china subscription and then added my old account as a friend so could view my saved trails.- shame you can't add this to an existing membership.
