I have just recently installed a home cinema, Dolby atmos ceiling speakers and monitor audio silver 200 5.1.2 speaker system with Dolby vision TV etc. Would this be a good film to take advantage of this or can someone recommend something else on Prime/Netflix that I could use to test this system?

    Gravity the version with Atmos
    Blade runner 2049
    Ready player one
    The Matrix
    Obvlion
    A quiet place
    Mad max fury road

Disc is better than streaming though.

Excellent film but much better if you watch it not knowing the plot. Don’t read anything about it or you’ll see spoilers.

Don’t even read the blurb above although it’s probably too late.

It’s a brilliant, clever very enjoyable sci-fi thriller. That’s all you need to know. (edited)

True - but I've watched it multiple times, and most subsequent viewings are almost as good as the first time I saw it.

    Its also great in 3D.

A decent film & the only time I've found Emily Blunt attractive....

Tom Cruise's best film IMO. Very rewatchable.

One of the best modern sci fi films. So good you can watch it twice in one sitting.

I love this film even if there's a huge plot hole that's always annoyed me

I don't think HUKD has spoiler tags so I can't even say what it is

Yeah nobody cares enough to ask. I know you wrote what you wrote because you wanted attention but look, nobody cares. Well done.

Good film but a silly ending brings it down.

Watched it for the first time the other night, decent but also agree the ending is a bit whack. Usually films/shows that mess around with time are pretty bad/full of plot holes but they did well.

the Christopher Nolan box set has a lot of good 4K content and some decent audio sound tracks,

more from Nolan are Oppenheimer is pretty good for visuals too as is TENET although is let down by the mumbling soundtrack that leaves you half the time wondering what was said 🤦🏻‍♂️

Blade Runner (a 42 year old movie with a pretty good 4K transfer)

    and Blade Runner 2049

The Matrix (the original 25 year old movie)

2001 Space Odyssey (a 56 Year old movie with a great 4k transfer)

The Shining (a 44 year old movie with a great 4K transfer)

Jaws the first movie (even at almost 50 years old is still a pretty decent 4k transfer)

oh and one thats just a tad older with a great HDR and most people totally overlook

    The Wizard of Oz

This is sleeper of a movie that's almost 90 years old (released way back, 85 years ago in 1939)

Has some pretty Amazing HDR for a movie this old the transfer is pretty demo worthy just for the vibrant colours

most older movies especially 35mm transfers to 4K HDR come out pretty great IMHO

also all of the Attenborough Planet/BBC series are pretty good to check out in 4K
