We've had ours for a few years now. Decent with no silly subscription charges.

I know other people have had issues from comments on previous deals posted. Just providing balance.

I've had a Eufy cam 2c system with Homebase 2 and three cameras for almost two years. It was great for the first 9 months picking up all visitors and overnight wildlife but then suddenly rarely sent notifications and missed movement on all three cameras. No overnight notifications at all with the cat and visiting foxes completely missed despite 'all movement' being set. I followed Eufy instructions and tried countless tweaks and reinstalls but no success. It now rarely picks up vehicles turning in my driveway which it always did originally and I can work in the back for half an hour intentionally leave the cameras on and it only sees me a couple of times. Eufy's updates, I'm guessing, have made their systems variable and inefficient and now offer no encouragement to buy for potential new and existing customers. Many forums online are highlighting these issues. Read and research before buying any Eufy system is my advice.

Moving from Ring, Eufy seemed like the best without subscription, but the more I look into it they have a lot of issues.

Can anyone recommend an alternative brand?

I have this Aqara Video Doorbell G4 (Chime Included) It has Local Face Recognition and Automations, Wireless or Wired, Supports Apple Home, Alexa, Google and Matter when it supports cameras. It also supports IFTT.

It's hardwired, never skips a beat, and works when your wifi is down. No subscriptions, 24-hour constant recording, the facial recognition is amazing, it even recognises my cat!

You can use batteries, however they don't last very long unless you use expensive ones.

If you are into the FireTV / Alexa ecosystem, you can set it up so that it also uses your Alexa devices as a chime - you can pick exactly which ones you want to ring, so if you don't want it ringing on your bedroom device, that's easily done. Mine is set up so that when somebody rings the bell, it opens a PIP on my fireTV device so I can see who's there and it also opens a video stream in my kitchen on my Meta Portal within maybe 2 seconds. It makes my living room Alexa chime as well.

I can ask my Echo Shows and Meta Portal to show me the front door and it streams almost instantly. The mic is very sensitive and can pick up noises from quite a distance.

It tells me when my children get home as it recognises their faces.

Downsides are, I didn't find it 100% when it was solely on battery power, it was a bit slower with 'loitering' alerts and it disconnected a few times. It was slower at connecting from my phone and sometimes took a bit too long showing me the camera stream. However, a power brick only costs about a tenner and it solved all these problems and added 24/7 recording. It's also only 1080p. it has a decently wide field of vision, however, I find it records too much height-wise. This isn't an actual problem, but in case I have quite a small garden and I don't need to see way above the houses across the road!

It has an intercom that works fine.

It is WiFi only and I don't think there's an option for ethernet. This hasn't caused me any problems after many months of use.

    Hope this helps!

Edit - there is a 20% voucher available right now on Amazon. (edited)

They're not great, it counts anything that moves a human. Sensitivity needs setting to 0 if you have cars passing and you'll still get about 30 false alerts per day. I just turned it off in the end. Now it's just an expensive door bell.

Is it the Homebase 3 unit you get with this deal? Thanks.

Nope... I'm waiting for a deal on 3 as it got facial recognition

Bought a standard eufy door cam which wouldn't charge despite being hardwired, then replaced with a more expensive eufy e340 - worked fine for a week then turned off and wouldn't charge again - waste of time and sent both back - have gone back to ring and just not paying subscription

Just bought this without the home base. Drat.

Same price with EUFY direct and 7.35% cashback with TCB. Probably a better warranty than dealing with Amazon.

Had mine with a camera pack for 8 months and the wall cameras needed charging every 2 months despite being the 365 ones. Sent back to eufy and eventually after dealing with the worst customer service and 5 months later they replaced the cameras and hub2. Now the doorbell won't connect to the new package even tho it's exactly the same. So it's screwed to the door and won't work and I've tried everything to rectify this. I'd never buy eufy again...

Hi, I want to replace my Ring doorbell, which is hard wired. I'm looking for a doorbell that will replace it that I can connect to my Hikvision 7200 series DVR, any recommendations please?
    Thank you in advance
