I discovered just now that entering my phone number with the leading 0 and without it triggered two text messages with different links.

Just tried to use it in Tesco at a branch that was supposedly redeeming the offer according to their link and the cashier got an error saying "conditions of the offer not met" even though it was the same size bottle in the offer, gave up and just got them to remove the item, waste of time

Check if they are in stock at all through the Tesco app, before going to get one.

Voted hot out of respect for the OP, but for me this was a waste of time. Work next to a Tesco that apparently is on the list to take it, they refused saying they don't do those barcodes. Tried in an Asda on the way home in passing, they said the same. Then went shopping today at my local Tesco and they refused 😏

i think these flashing bar code offers are a problem for people redeeming as often they don't scan.

There's an option to request the code, which they can input manually.

If it's anything like the lager offer the other week then it's not worth the hassle of standing at the Tesco's checkout like a plum whilst the cashier faffs around with the code before calling her mate Sandra the supervisor who will be equally clueless, meanwhile people are loading their shopping on the belt and you're feeling the pressure to get out of there.

Lol if its the only thing in ur shopping trolley, i can understsnd where ur coming from. I dont think anyone would make a trip just for this alone. Not worth the time n fuel.

I recommend u take advantange or such offers in future alongside your shopping. Keep it in ur hand and ask them to process this before they scan any other shopping. If it doesnt work, leave it aside and continue with rest of your shopping.

Not seen one comment saying they managed to redeem this offer. Something not right. I think the comment that mentioned spam offer might be right. Harvest 100-1000 mobile numbers.

These coupons are a nightmare to use at Tesco's. Was accused once of trying to scam the store.

A real pain to use in Tesco in Sale. Their scanners cannot handle the animated barcode nor the animated barcode numbers if you choose that option.
Voucher expires 20 minutes after you activate the "I am in store" button and spent 10 minutes at till (annoying those behind me) before going to the service desk - who somehow managed to validate the coupon.

Well firstly it's not accepted in express stores. I can assure you that they are in most superstores and certainly all extra stores. These are found in the fresh aisle near to the yoghurts not in the food to go section. (edited)

Just a heads up guys if you happen to have your pay as you go SIM cards left over that you probably used for the Asda trick then these could be used again to generate more codes to get a few more of these…..(y)

Nice deal. Not risking it myself, last time there was a deal like this (not Costa Frappe, but used what I presume is the same code thing... looks like a barcode, but "moving".. logo was same multicoloured image as on top of webpage when I clicked for locations.... the Tesco staff refused it, and supposedly tried to scan it when I urged them to, but it wouldn't work - that Tesco was on the map as accepting the offer).

My local ASDA doesn’t take evouchers on the tills for some reason. I know replacing tills from the 90s is costly but surely they need to get with the times!
