Confirmed I wanted to only cancel the airtime sim but keep the phone and she confirmed that was okay. Got screenshots of the exchange etc too.
Still able to continue paying phone over 12 months also.
Got 500 cashback via bank transfer on Wednesday after trading in store on Saturday afternoon.
Bought phone in store on Friday and delivered Saturday morning to my house.
Tldr cancelled sim airtime and kept phone contact.

I ordered this online with finance for the device and a £14pm SIM only contract.
Received the phone, love it!
Called Three and cancelled the contract - no need to pay off the device immediately, they are not linked.
Used the new device IMEI to arrange trade in of an old Samsung Galaxy A3. Worth £0, but confirmed £500 bonus trade in value. Sent off, waiting to complete.
Overall, should be getting the Magic V2 for £738 with no contract, and will claim the B&O headphones, too!

You don't see the trade in offer for PAYG but you will see it when you pick the mobile phone contract deals as below
If you're not in a rush though, Fold6 is supposed to be similarly designed as this. Although doubt you'll get such an offer on it!
I got a Vodafone Nokia 105 from Argos today. Selected Nokia 105 as the Trade-in device and tried the IMEI number on Three's recycle website and it says: Not in portfolio, please try again!

Can we use our own postage label when sending in the trade in phone. Or do we have to use the label which was sent by three. Thinking what if the trade in phone gets lost in transit.
Jokes apart, how about the contract? Did they cancel it, too? And have you got any evidence of the communication, eg recorded calls? Make sure that the contract is cancelled, first of all. Then wait for the cashback. After, contact them in writing and explain them the situation.
Is that what everyone else got when cancelling the airtime plan? Seems deliberately vague.

Phone is amazing, though taking some time to get use to MagicOS (if you came from pure android)
When on 3 recycle, IMEI is not accepted, although it is nokia 105. Called recycle support and lady made internal ticket so her team will add the IMEI to the database, which might take a week !
