OPPO Find X2 5G Snapdragon 865 256GB Smartphone + B&O H9 Headphones - £691 @ O2 Refresh

I just wish colors was a bit better. Really can't get away with it

I wouldn't say the p30 Pro at that price was worth it. And, who knows on the price of the oppo, I'd say yes, as undoubtedly it will at some point.

This looks like a sweet deal MrSwitch (y) . 2 qus; - Saw I could get the p30 pro for around 430 like new on o2 refresh in a similar fashion. Good deal? - Would likely opt for the base find x2 but do you think it’s worth waiting for price to drop? Im in no rush to buy..

Better waterproofing, camera, slightly bigger battery and more storage

Hi, all. Please help: what are the main differences between this and the Pro Version? Thanks

Are the headphones the 3rd gen ones?

This phone is awesome. I upgraded to the Samsung s20 Plus, and my daughter to the Oppo x2 Find Pro. The Oppo wins hands down for me, amazing phone. My daughter won't swap either.

Samsung does 3 from S10 and onwards

I got excited there for a moment because I thought Oppo had started making headphones again. Unfortunately it's just a phone. (audio geek mode off!)

Isn't the neo a budget version? I find the standard Find X2 similar to my mate 20 pro. Build and feel is very good.

Find that weird as they are a qualifying retailer for the headphones, they are both via redemption, so I'd obviously choose the headphones

Used these almost daily for a couple of months. Not had any issues. Sound quality is good. Connection is good. Fit well. Nice case. Haven’t had the battery die on me. Bear in mind, I hadn’t used any wireless in ears before so comparison can’t be made with anything else.

I think the audio quality is very good I'm not sure what comparisons are being made. They may need more base for some musical tastes, the app allows some increase but otherwise I find the sound across the board as lively and crisp. The touch controls are responsive too.

Your original comment was simply put "These don't have ANC so they're worthless" this app requires more input.

I tried these wanting decent audio quality that’ll at least provide some sort of distortion to outside noises. They lack in audio quality and as you mention they don’t have ANC, so that’s why I decided they’re worthless. Jesus is it illegal to have an opinion on this app?

You tried these wanting ANC knowing they didn't have ANC then decided they are worthless? No comments on the sound quality? I really like mine from an earlier deal and like the supporting app.

Anyone had an update from Oppo?

Not sure why this is expired. It's still up at this price and a bod deal for the phone

Yes not cheap. As I said I had it for £43 a month and £100 upfront with 4gb of data. But with 30% discount with EE it brings it to £30 a month for me. Which is a good price then. But prices on flagship phones are so high now. That why I wanted to mention the kicker of the headphones, because there's money coming back for those who sell them then.

i'd have to steal this to ever own one.

No, on amazon the cheapest version of this (black) is £152.86

This is a a cracking speaker, sound is crisp for such a small unit, it’s pretty heavy, still portable, Bluetooth can be flakey at times. Heat added, can’t remember exactly what I paid from Costco a few years back but think it was £130.

Cracking find. Thanks for posting and a welcome to hotukdeals @ticklemenipps (y)

These are total rubbish... The aukey t10s are cheaper and better.

I have the gen1 version of this. It's garbage. Stay away.

This is the older version with just around 3-4 hours battery life per charge and Bluetooth 4.2. The 3rd gen claims a battery life of 7 hours and has Bluetooth 5.1; but it is 3x the price.

Ha! You've been Onkyo'd.

I'm a fan of B&O and happy to pay premium for premium. I had these - they aren't premium. Not then and certainly not now.

I'm sorry.... It's my terrible attempt at humour, based on past hukd in jokes!

These are the first of the beoplay E8 I believe and there are reports of some issues. I took advantage of the curry's deal for the 2nd beoplay release and although I'm no audiophile I'm very happy with them but they won't appeal if you like bass heavy music. I also have some TrueDots and they are good but not a patch on the beoplay which IMO are as good as my bose quite comfort headphones but they make my ears too hot after an hour. Not voting either way as think they are still a bit expensive for the first incarnation.

HI - I have to agree in part with you....though I do read up on reviews by people...I think some hidden gems out there, but yes generally would want a known brand, if not one that is known a little at least... You listed Onkyo ...but this is actually a very good, but less well known audiophile type brand - also like one called Lypertek, thats not as well known, but still costs mid-range ~£100 price, but is meant to be great from reviews. NB. Known brands tend to also have more cost but lesser features like battery length etc...paying for the name....

Thanku Unfortunately The price for the apple ones is high

This is not good for calls. The other side hears a lot of the background. I bought it for £99 from the curry’s deal but will be returning it.

Ah ok. Well I dont have so much experience with making calls sorry. The only thing I would say is I understand that headphones are generally better than earphones in this regard. That is not to say earphones can't be good though - for instance I think the Airpods Pro perform well (helped by their extended length), but the Sony's and these B&O E8's are not so good.

Thanku I ld use this for calls mostly

Active Noise Cancelling. Makes quite a difference to your listening experience, especially if you use them for commuting say. They are now generally a staple feature in most medium/high end wireless earphones (and headphones), e.g. Sony WF-1000XM3, Apple Airpods Pro. But obviously you want good sound reproduction as well, so it can be a balance depending on your budget :)

I have had a pair of these for a while now and although they are ok for short periods longer than 30 mins i find uncomfortable. Although you can move the earpiece up and down you cannot adjust the tension in the head band so they can become tight over the ears.

Yes. I also believe that if you have a charging port it should differ to everyone else’s because ‘courage’. Actually, scrap that. It shouldn’t have any ports at all. Just wireless charging and WiFi.

No aptx or aptx HD- at this price point that’s unacceptable- cold from me.

I disagree, I have a big ol' meat head and have tried to find comfortable headphones for 15 years until I found my H4s. The sweetener was buying 2 refurbished pairs on eBay from an HUKD deal, both turned up shoddy which B&O let me keep for free!

I don't think their products really represent the best value for money or performance or even comfort for that matter. Unless you are into their design, otherwise there are normally always better alternatives.

I think most companies are struggling to some degree, apart from Amazon!! My way of thinking is, if you are happy with it from day one and everything works over the following weeks, then don't worry. Even if the worst were to happen, I personally wouldn't worry about firmware updates etc as I have more concerns with those breaking the device ;) I can't see B&O going anywhere soon, but I guess you never know in this day and age! (skeptical) I still have a B&O stereo and speakers from 1998!

Yeah thanks been keeping an eye there. Stage arguably better looking on wall Stage less trailing wires Stage arguably better music play back Stage support? B and o seems to be under regular financial stress Lg better surround/AtmosLG appears to have poorer implementation of Chromecast group playback LG may be more used to regular updates (for a year anyway)

Take a look on avforums. Hopefully they will have a forum on the LG you can look at. You will find one on the B&O Stage too. May help in your decision.

Thanks Tom and pwhite76. Should be ok then, underneath a wall mounted 65 inch should look quite flush - or do I potentially go down the lg sn11 route. Decisions decisions

Luckily they do silver aluminium frame with black grill cover, black aluminium frame with light grey grill cover and a wooden frame one, but that's even more expensive! So at least we have a choice, over the usual black plastic most offer.

An easy mistake to make, I was surprised myself. The reviews on hukd seem to indicate they are very bad, guess people on here don't care about price tags and brands but rather sound and quality.
