Go on Ebay and look for used 'Friends' Lego. It should be legit and you'll get the best bang for your buck.

Where's best to get lego for a kid just starting. All the lego I have is 25+ years old. I have a base and a bucket of lego with a few parts from Robin Hood " Castle" and what looks like cowboys.
But my Neice only turned 4 and wants to build houses etc. But there's not enough pieces. If ebay is the best is there fake stuff too?

Try a creative brick box with a base plate to make it easier to build on. They are often on offer at asda / morrisons etc x
