Do I need them? No. Do they look cool? Yes. Have I ordered them? You bet. Will I use them more than a couple of times? Probably not!

Have some heat. Monster used to make great headphones, including Beats. Worth a punt at this price for my daughter for holidays etc. Thanks @MrSwitch.

Beats are trash, they're an insult to the music being played; which is ironic as I remember the Dr Dre photo on every box with something like "Listen to music the way the artist intended". As a child I bought countless pairs of them, I regret ever buying that junk in the first place, even a £12 set of KOSS headphones absolutely recks a set of £300 beats; no wonder apple is killing off the brand it's completely redundant in this day and age.

IMO monster did make some ok headphones in the past, but they never kept up the momentum and instead spent all their money on DOA products which nobody asked for. In the uber competitive market you either have to make something outstanding in quality/performance or come up with some sort of designer accessory brand like Beats did.

Nice, they finally found a design that incorporates Bluetooth earphone cases into a child's inhaler

These look pretty cool for the money especially the case design, I do wonder if they are genuine or 'same factory' as the real thing but never seen these before. Got to love AliExpress!

Cheap headphones and cheap umbrellas. Two things i cannot resist... and both something i tend to lose on a night out...

The never ending plastic waste it generates.

Are these only 4 hours "play time" and then they need re-charged in the case? Is that standard for headphones these days .. doesn't scream "all day long with music" to me ??
    plewis00's avatar
Yes, for tiny true-wireless ones with tiny batteries, it's quite normal.

How do these compare to my Poundland “vidos” and my better half’s “puds”
  18. negativec's avatar
You might as well just throw £1.40 in the bin.

Funnily enough I bought a pair of Lenovo HT38 TWS Earbuds on AliExpress recently as I'd had success with some other high quality items beforehand. Was curious since Lenovo is a respectable brand, wasn't expecting high end sound but at least something basically competent. They were a few quid delivered. On arrival: design of case makes these slippery beggars near impossible to extract. Very tricky to pair compared to any others. But the killer was low level sound in one ear. Not worth returning so quickest trip to e-waste recycling ever.

    So not these ones then?

Great design and look cool, but ultimately they have awful sound and ear fit. Still worth £1.40 as a backup pair.

Thanks for posting, that's the same one I got and didn't see an obvious way around it.
