I paid £140 for this last month. Running my 7800x3d and 4090 without issue.

A Tier on https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/. Well reviewed on many sites.

Isn't that the other version (non pcie5 one)?

Looks like a good value psu at this price.

How good is this compared to the Corsair RMX SHIFT?

I have this exact model PSU bought last month for £140 aswell.

Great PSU the cables are fully black and slim unlike the thick corsair sleeved cables which I had issues with in my previous mATC build.

Is this is a good deal compared to other 1000W psu's? - not really sure where it sits. Reviews are positive, but they seem to push you towards more expensive models.

This doesn't get many advertisements and endorsements unlike others like Corsair as a big example. I have this and it does the job, don't really what else to say.

The big takeaway for me is my previous corsair rm850x had thick sleeved cables. This msi one has thin and in-a-way flexible cables that were essential because my case is designed in a way where there a tight connection which the corsair cables just would not fit

    I have this paired with a 13700k and a 4080 Super - works great.

My old PSU had a lot of coil whine with my setup and this PSU solved it.
