    We have a similar machine, has been going strong for the last 10 years.

    That's an artificial price. Paid £320 for the same model, but 8kg. Was that price almost everywhere. That was a while ago.

    The specs on Amazon say the 21.7D x 23.6W x 33.5H are in cm, but that is the approximate size of my machine in INCHES.

    I bought a Samsung washing machine and after 1 years the door locking mechanism broke and I realised that I had not called them within the 90 days and so I didn't have the 5 years warranty. I had to fix it myself. Now, it broke down again, the main control board and the pump has gone. This should have been covered under the warranty. I think this is completely unfair. I was thinking of complaining to the trading standard for such conduct. Its going to cost me the price of a new washing machine to repair it!
    Avoid Samsung washing machine all together....
