Interesting design. Wish it was modular as I am left handed so the touchpad is on the wrong side for me. This unfortunately will be cheaply built though but just to control something on the TV alright for that job.

For me I use Linux so I have GSConnect running as a GNOME extension and KDE Connect on my phone. This means if the phone rings it will auto pause what is playing. Receive send texts etc. It also means I can use my phone as the keyboard/mouse.

You can run KDEConnect on Windows as well and do the same.

Not with those 2 folds it won't. I mean, it will (probably) work, but it won't be fun to use for that.

I have this, mostly because i think i now have every keyboard ever made, and its ok, the touchpad kinda sucks, but for something to have in your bag when you fancy using termux on your phone ;-) its ok

Wonder is this would be good to use the rog ally on the tv

I bought this to use with my ROG Ally and while it works fine, any obstruction between the ROG Ally and the keyboard makes the touchpad jittery. The fact that some keys are smaller such as the T and V keys also cause me to make typos as well. It also looks more premium in the photos than it actually is - very plasticky in person.

That being said, for around £25, I don't think there is anything quite as portable with a touchpad that does what this does.

In the end I settled for this one for around £25 from Aliexpress: aliexpress.com/ite…tml

I would have preferred something with backlighting and a metal build and the touchpad to the side but couldn't find anything like that.

It's a shame it doesn't lock out flat when folded out.. only useful if you're using it on a desk

I would have thought it did, thanks for clarifying

I have one to control a mini PC plugged into my TV, mainly to stream football.

It does that job very well but I can't imagine using it for any extended typing. The V and T are not where my muscle memory expects them to be, them having been resized to accommodate the folding mechanism. (edited)

I had a similar issue. There are other designs if you're still looking: hotukdeals.com/com…896

These are half the price on AliExpress. The fold gaps makes it unpleasant to use.

This other design by the same Seenda brand (probably generic) avoids the gaps and costs around £19, probably lower during sales: aliexpress.com/ite…tml (edited)

Have the same one from AliExpress for about £12.
Works a treat doing longer emails for work, just put your phone on the side and away you go. Alot better than getting laptop out, and alot more secure.

Well worth the price I paid anyway.

Interested to know what people think - i bought a folding keyboard and it was damn near painful to type on...you literally had to stab the keys to get them to work....i go this...

    amazon.co.uk/Blu…8-3

And you can touch type on it very comfortably...not cheap but, you get what you pays for!!

    You seem to contradict yourself?!

"...you literally had to stab the keys to get them to work"
    Followed by...
"And you can touch type on it very comfortably..."

Unless you're referring to two different keyboards I don't get it?
