This is a cracking soundbar for the price. Great for a PC too. I've bought a few from this supplier and they have been like brand new. No buzzing when connecting to a PC or Chromecast and cheaper than other soundbars which aren't a patch on the loudness or quality of this.

Nice deal. Paid the same back in January. Came in good condition, boxed with the accessories for mounting. Beats in-built TV speakers, also bought one for the computer (at £16.99) to replace some old 2.1 speakers.

The only real big downside is that audio appears to cut out in quiet scenes on the TV (using HDMI), but that's probably down to the TV itself. I haven't looked into it since it's a bit too bassy for late nights/early mornings so I don't use it that often.

I've got this hooked up to a PC via BT. It's fine other than the loud announcement it's connected that doesn't seem to be optional! 😁

I got this last time it came up for £11.99. Brilliant for the price, nothing groundbreaking obviously but still so much more depth than normal TV speakers. Came with the box that was still in perfect condition, remote had been opened but still had wrapping, soundbar itself still had all the correct packaging, and it only had one tiny 2/3cm hairline scratch on the top, so much so when I first opened it I thought it was a literal hair. I’ve bought brand new things looking worse than this(lol) . Free postage but also arrived next day!

I'll second this - seems to be exactly my experience too.

    Mine did.

Received mine today, all set up but disappointed in the volume level. Even at full it's not too loud. TV on its own is a lot louder, it's got more bass and sounds a lot better but not sure if it could be faulty. Anybody else same?

Got mine today too, only tested via bluetooth . Volume goes up to a decent level, pleasantly surprised by the bass it can actually produce. Very happy all round especially for the price delivered and the condition/spec of the bar

Received today, it's good for the purpose I've bought it for, as a soundbar for a small office PC and TV. The max volume level is surprisingly low though, but sound quality is good. It sounds better than the TV, but the max volume level is quite a bit lower.

I think it's capable of going to a much higher volume without distortion, but it's been crippled by the preset maximum.

I've compared it to a Roku Stream bar (which has lots of issues), the Roku is considerably smaller but gets much louder, and has much better sound quality. I'd be returning the Sharp if I'd bought it for £50 or more, but for £12 I won't complain.

I wouldn't buy it for a TV bigger than 43". (edited)

Max volume is low when you connect it to tv yes. But only via bluetooth, i connected it via optical cable and its completly different but need to use remote for it. I have xiaomi soundbar too and that sharp sound better but as i say only when connected by optical, didnt try hdmi arc, might be different too

For those that bought this previously, what's the bass like? Obviously limited but is it decent considering this is a 2.0 soundbar?

Mine hooked up to PS4 . Not allowed to play on big tv. Love it

So far when connecting via bluetooth, I'm not impressed with the sound quality. Will try either HDMI or optical.

Wasn't sure if the sound quality was all that great but then I tested with this audio test and pleased.

Would anyone buy this from same seller for 19.99? Or even this for 46.99. Is the 26 quid extra worth it for a woofer? I’ve never ever had a single sound bar.

for context  my tv is a 55 inch Samsung mu7000 (edited)
    Xmob's avatar
In my experience, the woofer is definitely worth the extra. I bought a variation of the Sharp soundbar you linked for around £33 from the same seller. I don't know if they have it available. The model number is Sharp HT-SBW182 and the woofer it comes with is wireless (obviously you need to plug it into a socket though).

I listen to music on it too via Bluetooth and use it connected to my computer for movies and general YouTube videos.
