    Decent lens, decent price. Mulled over this and the Tamron 28-200 in the end. Pleased with my decision as the 2.8 at the wide end and extra 95mm reach has come in useful a LOT, though I doubt I'd have been disappointed with this if I had ended up this path too.

    I had this lens when it was released with A7RII. A great lens but the camera focus system was too slow (not the lens but the camera itself) so I ended up using manual Zeiss Loxias (+ some amazing Minolta lenses from 1969-74). (edited)

    Swapped an auto focus for a manual because it was too slow?? I’ve got this lens and it’s definitely quicker than searching for the focus manually… maybe you have a dodgy lens
