This may be a stupid question, but can i use these as gaming headphones for a PS5?

I think you can use it by connecting a cable from the headphones to the bottom of the controller. From memory the ps5 doesn't allow connecting Bluetooth headphones out of the box but you can buy plug in dongles to achieve that. Or you may be able to connect the headphones via Bluetooth to your TV and get it working that way. Bear in mind though Bluetooth has a bit of a delay compared to the gaming headsets that use a usb dongle so you might struggle if you play a lot of online shooters etc
