    I'm looking for a phone at this price and size. This would be perfect but the fact that Sony phones only get 2 years of security updates is off putting. I was thinking of getting Motorola Edge 40, but don't like the curved screen, can't fit a screen protector properly with it. G84 would be good, but it doesn't have esim. S23 would be ideal but is too expensive. Any other reccomendations for a used phone around this point, this size, esim and decent length security updates?

    It's 2 years of android version updates and 3 years of security updates since the IV models.

    How on earth can Sony have a bad camera, this was something they excelled at.

    Good sensors but bad software. Also this phone uses a processor (Snapdragon 695) that can't record 4K video.

    Their flagship models are good for video though.
