Guys I recently joined this network, I read pages and pages of reviews so I kind of knew what I was getting into but thought I'd give them a try anyway. My sim turned up the very next day and my number ported the day after, the positives are the data and coverage, they are brilliant and my speed has never been less than 100mbps. Multiple people report issues with receiving OTP codes from banks, PayPal etc, I did not experience any of this, all mine came through fine. However I did have major issues where people could not get hold of me despite being in a full signal area, they didn't even get through to voicemail, just an engaged tone. One other issue I had was ringing certain landline numbers, my home number for instance. When you ring it you get a message saying the number is not recognised. This has happened with several landline numbers on different area codes and number ranges. I spoke to spusu who came back with "those numbers aren't recognised on our network so can't be called". Wow. These numbers have been in existence for probably 80 years! Anyway as nice as the support person was they were unable to help me or willing to investigate the issue so I have opted to leave them which presented another issue. I generated a PAC through the app handed it to my new network who said the PAC isn't valid, generated a new one and same again. Spoke to support who said "oh yeh this is a known fault ill get you a new one". New one issued which was accepted by the new network. I would say to anyone looking at joining spusu be very mindful of these issues. Their network (EE) is brilliant however there's lots of issues they need to address before they can be recommended in my opinion.

So the summary is, don't port your main number, even if you want to try it.

I am currently on this network for just under a month. The quality of network is poor. Maybe related to the one bar I get at home. Calls dropping repeatedly. People get a message number not available rather than my voicemail, plus I never get an alert someone called. I am going back to Lebara. It’s the best of a bad bunch for me.

If you are home and have poor signal, why not use WiFi calling

    Is that pronounced "Spew Sue"?

I think they need to be sued , so that sounds about right

I currently looking for a decent sim deal without all this pay this for x months and then y for remaining months etc.

Want to move away from Spusu, for similar reasons echoed in this thread, not receiving calls despite in decent signal area. What it has definitely going for it is data speeds and coverage, way better than 3 in and around my area. (edited)

CMLink or 1P Mobile are your best two options for full access to the EE signal and features.

They aren't the cheapest, but there's nothing crazy cheap that has full EE access unfortunately. There's a price premium to pay for this.

Vodafone often comes a close second place for phone signal in most parts of the UK, though with slower data speeds. If your priority is a low price rather than the very best service then check out the TalkMobile (Owned by Vodafone) deals with their network by going via USwitch.

I joined for just 2 weeks and went back to 1p. Incoming call not working, never received OTP

Ordered, hope the 5G works fine on my S23. Thanks.

Thank you. I have ordered the SIM.
I have been with all major networks and all of them have strong and week signal locations. I use what works best at my home to avoid getting messages redirected to voicemail. I also use wifi calling if the network supports it.
Lastly, given the price and the fact this is a monthly contract I can easily jump to a different network if needed

should always check reviews as so far they got 3.2 with trustpilot
also found info about wifi calling about spusu / WiFi calling is new for spusu and doesn't seem fully finished (edited)

3.2 sounds amazing for trust pilot. The few times I have looked, even for things I think were pretty good it is full of deranged rants about how awful the company is and a score of 1.6.

If it fixes incoming calls, I'll come back. Typically, most incoming calls are transferred to voicemail.

There was always a theory that they lent on their Austrian network for a lot of the lifting of the UK network, again I can't confirm this but all these odd and weird issues seems to come from them having a very strange setup, they have a fairly big subscriber base in Austria and also Italy but they shouldn't half-arse the network in the UK if they want to gain subscribers, I joined in August last year and was gone by October to 1p Mobile.

Just FIY, 5g is not working on Pixel phones (you get LTE).

That would be very strange in 2024. According to Google Pixel 8 Pro supports 5G:
