Cheap showers pretty much a false economy would get a Mira or Bristan for £100 approx.
By the time pay a plumber and find one to replace this in 2 years it not be any cheaper.

£2.21 an hour to run on average. Daylight robbery. I work in energy advice and all the social housing down here has electric showers. Costing people who can afford it least an absolute fortune.

So around 18p for my daily 5 minute shower then.

Truly awful shower cheap for a reason. The tap has more pressure than this spend
    Abit more

This does not have a pump - it only heats the water as it is pushed through by mains pressure so has same pressure as tap!

How can I increase the water pressure that comes out of this? I presume it's not the showers fault. Also, take care of the pipe. I've had to replace mine because it started to leak after 10 months or so.

Is your water pressure from cold tap also poor? if so you may struggle. Could try a booster pump.
Could be as easy as a valve not fully open. (edited)

I used to have a 10W shower. It was great. Then had to get an 8W shower as apparently the cables weren't powerful enough. It sucks. I like hot long showers for at least an hour.
