There was a similar deal a while back and I followed the instructions and have not received anything or confirmations, despite following up with metro

Same here. About a month since I used booking. Does say can take up to 3 months though

Compare the price when going through Metro to Booking.com and doing it directly on Booking.com (after clearing cookies). You may find a £30 difference or more!

Does that mean that a booking for a stay in April that is pre-paid but can be cancelled will not be valid?
