Those feet are snapping if I sit on it

Agree but for £200 it might be worth swapping them with some from Amazon for around £20. I bought some black carved ones a while ago and they completely transformed an old chair and made it taller.

Site is a total basket case. Beyond that, it's just charged me a fortune and says I have no orders! Beware!

Studio trying the same with me,

Used to be a good company don't know what's happened to them

I did order a coupl of things for crimbo not knowing it had changed so much, all their products come from different people, I have had wrong items sent, not received 1 and been charged, there is no phone number to call them now, you have to go through an automated bot, then eventually get to speak to again not even studio an outsourced customer chat screen, I will never buy from this company ever again

    Please beware

They have the matching two seater!

Do you have the link please?

I have this exact same sofa but in Velvet. Paid £500 2 years ago, would pay that again definitely so this for £199 is a bargain!
    Bambibear's avatar
Curious, how is the velvet holding up after 2 years? I wasn't sure if velvet would flatten on a sofa.

Remember when jack wills was premium? I still have a jumper from 2006, quality is phenomenal. Now it’s sports direct muck
    Milky_Oolong's avatar
Fabrics and construction used to be fantastic. The brand used to be high quality, but now it’s just fast fashion resting on its laurels (a bit like M&S)
  6. bobbitchin's avatar
As usual, the "contact us" gives you a D.O.B calendar which you have to spend 3 days scrolling through. The order has been made and the money withdrawn and I have zero emails, zero confirmations, and nothing in my account. Do not order.

Looks lovely, very tempted, but not a fan of Studio

Jack wills sofas…Mike Ashley classic this. Just wack one of the brands you own on a product you’ve got from a manufacturer despite that brand having no history/heritage in the product. Before Ashley came on the scene, a brand meant something, it was a sign of higher quality, it means nothing now and neither does the RRP.
that withstanding, Ashley has saved a good number of high street names and for that we should be grateful. Just has some annoying sales tactics too.

Found more of a description from an eBay posting if it helps anyone.

Finally got a receipt of payment only to find as each day goes by they cancel more and more of the order. They are crooks, plain and simple. They didn't have the stock in the first place. These people are worse than Argos for "Shelf Improvement Products" that don't exist. Do not order from this bucket of sxxt' company

"track order" gives you zero information. Welcome to 2023 where you can do as you please with people's money. (edited)
    jenny.shepherd-robins's avatar
Exactly nothing but problems after problems, can't wait for them to sort my errors out and admit non delivery even when EVRI have said never received in the first place, also charged for a cancelled item that was out of stock after I ordered, still charged for, they are diabolical, studio don't exist any more they are outsourced, need closing down, once my acc sorted it's a big getting rid of permanently for me

If you remove the special characters from the password it will work (&L!@ etc). I had the same issue. Site is pants.

Isn’t this a Sports Direct brand now?
    yespleasesir's avatar
Yes. Hence this brand is all over his Sports Direct site. The £999 RRP is absolutely ridiculous!
  13. Haircut_100's avatar
Can't wait to see Sports Direct following up this Jack Wills sofa with a Dunlop bed, a Firetrap futon, and an Everlast coffee table.
    dw94's avatar
You forgot to mention the Lonsdale bookcase!
  14. leeanne123's avatar
No way was that ever £999 surely? It looks like many of the cheapy £200ish sofas you can get from the likes of Amazon (been looking for a cheap sofa, seen quite a few that look like this)
    Bambibear's avatar
The sofa is worth £200 but they were charging you £799 for the Jack Wills label which is made of a mystical magical unknown substance that makes all your friends believe you have suddenly acquired taste and style.
  15. jenny.shepherd-robins's avatar
I feel for you bobbitchin, it is an awful catalogue site now, it's a big shame cause it used to be really good, once I'm sorted through all my business with their mistakes, I am getting rid of it for good
  16. Jinkz's avatar
Looks uncomfortable, I hate it 😄
    Magurdrac's avatar
Yep... looks like cheap tat with a trendy label and a nonsense RRP.
  17. RobMotoring's avatar
I would describe this as a cheap, flimsy, small two seater sofa. Probably £199 is about right. You get what you pay for with sofas and furniture in general
    Susan_Challenger's avatar
Hi Rob.. Is this comment based on experience of owning one?
  18. xxmarshmallowsxx's avatar
    Looks good
Reduced from £999 on Studio and Jack Wills website apparently.. can't seem to find any reviews online though :/ (edited)

    Looks gorgeous
  20. WAWG's avatar
I suppose Sports Direct sofa wouldn’t attract as many people.
It only has to be listed in one outlet for 6 weeks for them to be able to slap that previous price on it. Don’t buy it thinking you’re getting a 1K sofa
    colliwag's avatar
I don’t even think they need to do that anymore. Just a ‘reasonable’ length of time. Reasonable is decided by the retailer.
  21. miffyl's avatar
Studio is owned by Fraser Group as is Jack Wills. It's just Sports Direct by another name and comes with the same warnings. See in here for orders placed and not fulfilled after weeks.
  22. dioxyde0's avatar
    3 seater with 2 pillows:(
    Cleverbyname's avatar
As is standard. My 4 seater has 3 cushions.
  23. ma345's avatar
I am willing to buy this but can't find any reviews. Someone bought it recently? Need suggestion
  24. ecuador's avatar
Wow, why is a £200 sportsdirect sofa flaming hot?
  25. DealTron's avatar
    Looks good.
  26. bobbitchin's avatar
    Anyone have this
    ELVIS_THE_PELVIS's avatar
    Almost definitely
  27. greycounciller's avatar
Nice, but how high of the floor is the cushion?
  28. bobbitchin's avatar
So, now Studio have sent me an email telling me Ive forgotten to order 'this' but following the link tells you you can't log in. Utter and total scam.

The recent reviews are shockingly bad 😯
  29. razam's avatar
Is this a box/flat pack sofa?
  30. Th3.Ripper's avatar
    Utter rubbish
  31. SPLE22's avatar
    IKEAs version is better
    Myusernamehasgone234's avatar
Do you have a link to the IKEA one please? Is it same price £200?
  32. ROWDY's avatar
£375 on Sports Direct under the name Homelife Neptune with an RRP of £750. Think that paints a better picture of the quality. Still a good deal if you're after a cheap sofa. It has me curious! I want more info....
  33. JoAnna2183's avatar
Jack wills and house of Fraserburgh also have it at the same price
  34. barneyb's avatar
Would be.interested to see what the return terms are considering how a pain the returns process was for some trainers I bought from the same site.
  35. ASeh's avatar
looks like the same sofa is available at multiple retailer (Studio, JackWills, SportDirect and HouseoffRaser) for same £199 price.

Any suggestions if any of these offer free delivery? trying to see if £20 can be saved on Delivery
    mandii's avatar
Yeah 20% if you order via credit account on Studio so basically Free delivery for 2 seater and chair for me, 3 months interest free 🏼
  36. jenny.shepherd-robins's avatar
    Exactly bobbitchin !
  37. SkipFeeney's avatar
Anyone got theirs yet? Mine is due for delivery on Friday. Ordered via House of Fraser site though
    colliwag's avatar
Please report back. Really intrigued to see what Mike Ashley sofas are like
