At this price 20 quid delivery is nothing compared to the saving!
Rearrange delivery for the following weekend, take another day off to accommodate, a text lands on the delivery day that they are unable to deliver.
Call up the company again, apparently now the item is discontinued and they can’t do anything. Refund requested, still waiting since the weekend gone, Kamado Bono grill still advertised on site and in stock despite all of the above and multiple prompts to pass the complaint to management.
Leave it for you to decide if this ‘deal’ is worth the potential hassle.
I've got various grills of theirs and the customer service is amazing!
I've seen some recommendations to improve this - lining the edges with heat proof gasket for starters - any recommendations?
Also - if I want to get some ceramic heat deflector plates (e.g. if I want half to be indirect half direct) - any recommendations for this?
I also saw a video which basically said its really hard to sear after smoking as you would have to remove the slow roller which would be boiling hot etc - they recommended a "Slow N Sear 22") which essentially is a coal basket that you can put on the slow roller and allow you to sear without having to removing the slow roller.
Any experience with any of the above, or any other tips to get the most of this would be much appreciated!!
