Me too. I'll be getting a 2kg one every week in December. Cook each one, slice and freeze and will last us until Easter

Use a ninja foodi 6.3 litre ,pressure cook it then. Brown on the oven mode, so juicy doesn't dry out , amazing flavour
BeerGoggles
How long do you have it in the pressure cooker? Ribs come out amazing with 9 mins then 15mins air fry, but no idea about a beef joint.

This or Asda extra special ?
I'm gonna be dehydrate in the air fryer for 6 hrs, 10 mins air fry, then 1 hour wrapped in foil and covered with tea towel.
This was last year's effort with a cheaper cut.

Two things.
Where did you find an air fryer big enough for you to get into?
Wouldn't you have been better off doing that to the roasting joint?

for reference.. if your getting this there is different sizes and goes up to 2KG £15 from 30
Also if your putting in a delivery or collection you can leave a note.. in this note you can say which joint you prefer.. if you don't you won't know which is coming and could end up with the worse which is Silverside.. the choice is.. Topside, Top Rump, Silverside or Whole Rump You have to go to Full Basket to see where to add the note.

Had one on Sunday. Absolutely bloody lovely. Cooked medium rare. Very tender and delicious. No gristly or tough bits whatsoever. Had the rest in my sarnies yesterday and today. (edited)

You're going to have to go in store and see the stamp on it. Search it up and then determine whether it is or not.

Anyone cooked one of these for pulled beef? Usually use brisket but it's quite a bit more expensive currently
Martywolf
I did, last friday, it was lovely

The Sainsburys recent rump offer was amazeballs. tbh I’ve struggled with Asda & tesco beef in the past so on this occasion it’s a no from me sorry
