I got this a while ago with the free Bose earphones (sold on ebay).
The screen is quite narrow as the edges are curved, so takes a bit of getting use to. Forget trying to get a screen protector that stays on.
The phone cost me about 100 quid after selling the earphones. I wouldn't buy it at £200 because of the curved screen

Yeh the curved narrow screen sucks. Form factor is pretty weird overall.

I've been a Moto fan, my previous 3 phones were Moto G series, but the lack of updates made me go with Samsung this time around.
    Jeffmaniac's avatar
Exactly the same. Had my G6 Play for years then upgraded to a Samsung A33 5g as it got 4 Andoid updates to and including Android 16 and 5 years security updates from early 2022 to early 2027 (all A53 5g and A73 5g phones are the same)

Motorola was giving 2 years of updates which didn't seem like good value for money

Great deal. Hope it becomes available at this price for the general public .

It's available for anyone who works for a company - you go on perks for works website and create an accoount- it's easier if you have a work email address but you can do it without.
Once you set up the account log in and search for Lenovo among their list of merchants. Click on the link to Lenovos website and it will show the discounted price. From there you just order as normal.
It's fairly easy- I did it earlier and I'm an eejit..

Great phone for the money. The reviews have all pointed to it being the best mid price phone available and better than equivalent Redmi etc.

I picked it up at the beginning of the month for quite a bit more money.

Camera is excellent with the OIS video, and the screen is great at 144hz refresh rate.

Taken some great Christmas photos and Nativity play videos on this.

Battery lasts long enough and the storage and ram are higher again than many in this price point.

The included case is bit meh for me, so I bought a more sturdy silicone type

Agree with this. I've had mine for a few months and it's been excellent.

Also agree about the case, the one mine came with didn't fit perfectly, it was too tight to clip on, and when it did it left a gap in the back for dust to get in.

You have to download an 3rd party app from the play store if u want that..

It's asking me for a passcode to enter the rewards store. (edited)
    litwoojczyznomoj's avatar
-You have to go to Perks at work website
.- sign up (my company has their own online rewards scheme and pretty sure they have nothing to do with perks at work but I still managed to sign up using my own email)
    - find Lenovo and click to be redirected to Lenovo website
    Worked for me

Think its an OK price, 10% code does not work, wanted the MOTOROLA Edge 40, which can be fetched from Motorola for £300, which the Chat lady matched it, and looks like they have updated on their website now (was £370 before). But when I highlighted that the so-called 43% is not correct, wanted 30% off from the actual price it is selling for, she left the chat lol (edited)

How have you found it? Is the camera any good?

Can someone explain this to me please? Do I need a code for the Lenovo website , or do I have to order it on the Perks website? Thank you

Loving their R&D direction here, compact and light, next model might be the ticket for me.
    BodenWRX's avatar
I get it’s quite light, but how is it compact, their previous model is a lot smaller than this. 159.6mm vs 152.9mm
  13. tuckeral's avatar
Great price. Also shows 10% off first order with pop-up offer on the home page, which may work too(!?).
    Says almost sold out too...

    is it dual sim?

    Sim and esim

It's a relatively light 170 grams in weight, kind of a mid point between the "ideal" pixel 5 (150 GM's) and most other android phones this year (190-200 gms)....but it's still a bit of a big fella.
  18. youngchap's avatar
Ram is monster in this one. How's the camera and everything else?
    Jarosik's avatar
Camera is good but suffers in low light.

Performance is otherwise very good for the price range. NFC reader is a nuisance though - it has poor range and requires hitting a sweet spot.

Worth the money at this price.
  19. Laughingravy43's avatar
Only 20% off now £240 and you can't use the extra 10% off first order code on business site urgh

I now have the Edge 30 Neo from the John Lewis deal the other day and managed to order this yesterday. I think I will return the Edge 30 Neo before this arrives? Apart from battery life and wireless charging this seems better in all other ways?
    Darealspoon's avatar
It's bigger, why I went for the 30 as it's a gift for someone who wants a smaller phone.

Here's a question that I'm sure the folks of HUKD will know.

If I were to purchase this, on top of the edge 30 neo I purchased from John lewis the other day.. Would I be able to return either one after box opening? They wouldn't be turned on or removed from the wrapper.. But the stickers would be cut to open the boxes and compare side by side.

I don't have Perks at work. How would I get it at this price? Can I join with my Gmail?
    kpearsoncj1's avatar
We didn't have perks at work either I literally just clicked register on the website after going through the link it just asked me for my work email and the company I worked for that was it
  30. kpearsoncj1's avatar
Anyone else not able to use discovery plus on the phones bought from Lenovo Argos ones worked fine
  31. Jim_Clark's avatar
Easy to register with personal email, just need to put "lolperks" as a company.
