    Nice offer but the portions from german donner kebeb are tiny. Their bread is filled mostly with salad and what little donner they give you is bland.

    You're right. I checked calories of meals there and looks like most of it has 500kcal max. Doner wrap with 500kcal. They should rename to German Diet Kebab.

    German Doner uses Beef, Turkish uses Lamb. German is slightly less fatty.

    Birmingham New street branch messed up my order 2 years ago, skipped them for a long time after that. Reordered a few months ago thinking that maybe things have improved but nope, they forgot half the order. No wonder they have a 3.2 star rating...

    Exact same thing happened to me after they messed up with my order twice and not willing to help i have completely stopped ordering from them. And the food is gone downwards not worth any money!

    The only time GDK is worth it if it is buy one get one free. Otherwise, extortionate for a donner which is supposed to be cheap food!

    The newcastle one is the absolute worst place I've ever picked up from as a delivery driver, not sure if all branches are as bad. But I would never order simply because of how badly they treat drivers... they just leave food on shelves sitting to get cold for ages, and even when I arrive and can see my order it still takes 5+ mins for someone to come and hand it to me (which takes around 5 seconds). If I try to speak up to get their attention they say they're busy or for me not to be rude (as if ignoring me and costing me money by waiting so long isn't rude?!). (edited)

    I go once or twice a month to the one in Birmingham. Never had an issue with it. Portions are great. Plenty of meat. But I only ever have the OG meal.

    Very good deal however some of the comments about getting less meat are a fact it seems, I went for feed the fam of 4 , upgraded OG kebabs to large which were ok however I don't think they added "extra" meat I paid for.

    The Paninis that were included were pretty much 2 bread rolls with some salad and sauce, very little meat in them I ended up taking everything off and adding it into the OG kebab so ended up with 1 large kebab from 2 haha! I think this deal just makes them around the same value as an average chip shop for a kebab so definately worth if your yet to try GDK. Very nice but for the full price, you certainly don't get enough!

    I see only Penge branch on my list and it has the offer as well. From experience though the Bromley branch produces much better quality is less likely to mess up the order

    Had one of these at a restaurant - and it was luke warm THEN.
    Hate to think what it's like after being bumped across the town
    Was really stingy on portions too...
    Even at half off, best to find a good local kebab shop.

    I was so disappointed with these.. taste like they soak the meat in water for months before serving it.

    Really really bad kebabs. Even the scabby ones you go to after drinking are way better.

    So expensive usually too... Yeah I guess give it a try at 50% off... But meh.

    Use to be the best at the start now the portions are tiny and the meat taste alot more salty. I guess they try to make it more salty so they don't need as much meat.

    if your GDK is on a good high street it will probably be close enough to a decent independent place where you can order doner wrap etc, for twice the size and half the price, and not at room temperature.
    I liked GDK but everytime I see their elaborate packaging littering a park or road I like them a little less

    Bad deal compared to previous offers but this is hotter than they were. Sometimes hukd makes no sense.

    Earlier deals had buy one free on Doner Kebabs, so 2 for £6.99. With this "50% off" deal 2 kebabs is £11.67.
