    Please read the small print!

"6. THE DECISION MADE BY THE PROMOTER AS TO THOSE PERSONS ABLE TO USE THE PROMOTION AND THE PRODUCTS THAT ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROMOTION IS FINAL."

Clearly illegal under consumer rights. You’re not legally allowed to sell something and then impose restrictions that were not specified at point of sale. And a blanket ambiguous restriction is not lawful.

I would only buy vouchers if I am planning to use them quickly to get the benefits of the discount...

However if they go bankrupt you get nothing back.. let's not forget House of Fraser went bust once before.

Buy using PayPal or a credit card. Section 75 should cover it. (edited)

The gift vouchers are like a interest free loan you are giving to HoF with no promise to get anything in return.

Ordered a few sale items last week, only half arrived, HoF cancelled the rest citing no stock.

I don’t suppose it can be used against the Fraser Plus price?

I think I know which product you are referring to, I could be wrong. Still a good price for the ps5 slim with the gift cards.

Will this work on any product including ps5?

    Yep.

Anyone know if multiple cards can be combined on 1 purchase?

Looks like it. There’s another post for the Quest 3 where someone had 2 in their basket and total was £400.

Do HOF sell other gift cards in store (Amazon etc)? Could be a way to swap the discount to something more usable

So is your opinion not to go for it?

Better to be safe than sorry,
Try to use their gift card as soon as you buy.
They still have 29 stores, gradually closing every now and then when their rent permit expires, they should stay for a year atleast.

Could this £250 gift card be used to purchase a Sony Play Station or Dual Edge controller even though they are supplied by Game.
    ethan_qWP's avatar
Not entirely sure, but it said the Quest 3 deal I used gift cards on was delivered by GAME and that worked fine
