    Hi All,

I am using it on esim since few days now. I get 500 Mb/s downloads - wow.
Their app is very straightforward and easy to use.
Calls are HD quality - someone mentioned in some other thread that these were not working?
Calls to EU using inclusive 500 minutes bundle work very good - tested it calling to Poland mobiles and to Germany mobiles, as well as Croatian landline. Also HD quality shown on my Samsung dialler.

The only major issue I have noticed is that whilst you can send a text messages to other UK networks, people are unable to reply to you- they get a "message not sent" errors on their phone. I have tested this with all of my friends, and it seems that so far anyone on O2, cannot send a text to Spusu number - tested on 3 different O2 numbers from various locations in the UK.
I have rebooted my phone, turned RCS off, tried few other tricks. Nope :-(

Not sure about other major networks in the UK and texting Spusu numbers?

I have reported this issue to Spusu CS via Whatsapp this morning - included screenshots and all numbers, etc.
I was informed that they will escalate this, and they will get back to me ASAP. Nothing heard so far.

To add to this, one of my friends from abroad could not make a call to my Spusu number using Viber Out.
After a chat with Viber support, he was advised that their system shows this numbering range as some special/higher cost service in the UK, hence it is not included in their subscription like rest of the UK numbers. (I have screenshots of the chat / emails)

I am not an expert, nor a network engineer, but it looks like their numbering range - 07356 xxx xxx - has not been set up properly by the regulator - Ofcom?

Some people have said on ISPReview you can solve some issues (Inc the number range one) by simply porting on a number from another network.

The number range issue is because Spusu has taken their own block and many networks haven't updated their charge tables.

Ordered this and received the eSIM. I don’t want to activate it yet as still have a 49p a month Lyca deal on the go. Says on the website you have 6 months to activate. Do I need to install the eSIM now and then send the activation SMS when I’m ready or just do it all when I’m ready to activate.
    duggie1982's avatar
You can install the eSIM as after you do that, to activate you need to send a sms via your eSIM with a code to activate. So install eSIM and wait till 5 or so months then sms the code to activate account

I'm finding the signal very weak & calls connecting patchy. Also disappointed to see wifi calling list doesn't include my old iphone whereas Lebara does. I won't be going beyond the promo offer.

    5gb roaming?

Anyone know how easy it is to cancel without using a PAC?
    TristanDeCoonha's avatar
    Turn off auto renew
You'll lose the number in about a year, if they act like lebara

So now we're being paid say net £8. I don't need a contract until next year as your 3/O2 glitches have paid out. BUT I'll buy 2 sims just to make £16 and then stac once TCB paid. Thank you saj 🔥 🔥

I know what PAC is but what's Stac?

Does anyone know if it's full fat EE like 1p mobile or is it missing some bands like lycamobile and Plusnet mobile (when they were a thing)

    "International calls
If you are in the UK and are calling another country, you are making an international call. You can use free minutes included in your plan to make calls from the UK to the EU at no extra cost"
This actually makes it better than my £5/5GB Lebara deal

    Unlimited free EU calls?

I've never used e-sims before but anyone know why the number is "unknown" for each sim? :/

Spusu said to wait few days and if not resolved they'd have to issue me new e-sims seems odd.

On iPhone you have to put the number in manually.

Just a heads up, their eSIM doesn't work with Google Pixel 6.
In general, you can use the eSIM with all eSIM-enabled devices.
Apple Watches, the Huawei Watch 3 Pro, and the Google Pixel 4(a) and 6(Pro) are not supported

I had this first time when Sadj posted. No issues whatsoever. Order, esim, porting all went without any issue.

Can this be used in a mifi dongle for data hotspot?
    al355's avatar
Can't see why not but it's only 5gb

Has anyone tried to cancel it after one month? How easy to cancel if it is an eSim? I want to buy it for my Switzerland trip and won't need it after the trip. Thx
    hajashek's avatar
I have cancelled after 1 week. No problems and full refund issued. I did it so over WhatsApp chat with CS.
    Took out another, better, deal.

I got an eSim and was able to choose the number (which was an excellent number) so decided to port it out so I coud keep it on another network

Has anyone worked how to port a number in after they've ordered/received their Spusu sim?

I've got the PAC from the network I wish to transfer in from but Spusu don't make it clear who you're meant text/send it to?

    Any ideas?
