Can you use stuff like Google play and other GMS services on this? Not too sure what the drawbacks are of buying a Chinese version
    MentalFloss's avatar
This has Oxygen OS which is their global rom flashed on it. It will behave exactly like a UK bought OnePlus 12. Banking, GMS, Android Auto everything works. The only things you won't get are esim support I believe & brand warranty (you will have warranty through WONDA)

Can anyone confirm Android Auto works? I thought it would with EU ROM, but one of the Wonda pages says it won't.
    uscool's avatar
It does work, that page hasn't been updated that's when it was with CN rom not flashed with EU ROM

Dumb question but what's the difference between Chinese version and UK version
    uscool's avatar
    no esim for Chinese version

I'm planning on going for this one, is it safe to use bank transfer option or go with PayPal?
    Uncle_Arthur's avatar
    I used bank transfer.
    No issues.

    Took the plunge.
After garbage experiences with samsung warranty / repairs and the fold 4, can't see why I'd bother paying a premium anymore.
Was looking to upgrade to the S24 ultra, but the UK deals are significantly worse than the Aus ones.
Will be my first 1+ since the original

any information about Chinese phones and how you dealing with their warranty on those phones?

    Already posted

Price needs adjusting a little but it remains the same deal.

I've just bought it for £564.88 for payment via bank transfer and $5 off for code WONDA

Judging from the comments about customer service response times and their willingness to deal with issues I don't think I'd need S75 protection from credit card. (edited)

Oh wow they have 24G RAM and 1TB storage
  10. Uncle_Arthur's avatar
    I have.
    Excellent.
Even managed to fix the one little niggle I had with it... The dialer.
Got rid of Google dialer and installed OnePlus dialer.
    Loving it.
    YourSongIsEnding's avatar
The price is a little tempting tbh
  11. TuShae's avatar
    I paid £546 for the 12/256 version.
    Uncle_Arthur's avatar
Was that from the other deal?
  12. Crosshash's avatar
Did they resolve the region locking issue then?
    unclesmack's avatar
Yes, fully flashable to global and no more region lock

How good are the speakers on Oneplus 12?

GSMArena review didn't have them that loud so worried about loudness.
  14. Pájaro's avatar
Do be warned that there are issues with region locks with these devices, and while they're supposed to be counteracted, it's not known if that countermeasure is a permanent fix, and if they do send you a locked device, you'll need to give Wondamobile access to your PC and phone via a remote access tool to undo the lock.
    Fulton's avatar
If they can already remote in and fix it, I would assume that they are unlocking the region lock on these new orders before shipping?
  15. Codify's avatar
Looks like they copied the Honor Magic5/Magic6 design

Has anyone been able to get eSim to work? Bit of a dealbreaker for me as I travel a fair amount
    uscool's avatar
esim doesnt work on CN version of Oneplus 12 even if its flashed to oxygen, but think you can use esim another way esim.me/
  17. Joshfount's avatar
Good price for the specs on offer ♨️
  18. uscool's avatar
having just replaced the battery on xiaomi mi 11 its given it a new lease of life so will hold out see whats on offer next year, and one main reason is I wanna get away from curved screen which my current phone has
  19. Abi_Thampi's avatar
Will OTA updates work on these devices? They're always tempting but thats what I'm unsure about. I've heard of them just not receiving updates either.
    Fulton's avatar
People received their first OTA updates today so rest assured, 100% 🏻
  20. Mick.H's avatar
Thanks for posting this. Its swayed me away from the pixel.
    Ordered it last night
  21. nosluom's avatar
Anyone who purchased got any thoughts on the phone? Is it decent?
    vassy4u's avatar
Camera is decent but otherwise very good phone (edited)
  22. markh2001's avatar
Hey guys I've orderd from wonda before so I trust them.

What puts me off is it says it doesn't support Android Auto? I use that daily with driving.

Also would I need to flash the EU/UK ROM from OnePlus website like you used to be able to? It's been a few years since I've had a OnePlus. (edited)
    MentalFloss's avatar
It supports android auto once you flash Oxygen OS. WONDA can do it for you as well if you select that option while ordering.
  23. YourSongIsEnding's avatar
Anyone brought this specific model from here, how did it go?
  24. Uncle_Arthur's avatar
I paid £564 with bank transfer as payment method.
  25. AshNG's avatar
Very tempting, any feedback on size & weight as it seems to be on the plus size...

I moved from a Samsung s23u. Feels light to me in comparison.

It's crazy they are forcing U.K users to pay an extra 200 pounds for it than other countries I was thinking of going Google pixel because of it.Its ridiculous.I think most people are going to.go the Chinese route instead of paying their price
  27. krazii's avatar
Ordered mine last Wednesday and it arrived today. Payed by bacs for the extra discount.
  28. LemonPledge1's avatar
