Details

Acer's spin on the Intel® Arc™ A770 GPU takes your gaming to the next level. 16 GB of GDDR6 memory means games like Apex Legends can spit out crazy FPS even when you have apps running in the background. For extra firepower in titles like COD Warzone, the overlockable GPU ramps up to 2400 MHz. And the cooling system is no joke. It pairs a vapour chamber with dual fans for maximum chill in heated sessions.

Features

  • Xe Super Sampling lets you enjoy ultra-realistic visuals in games with ray tracing and AI-Enhanced upscaling
  • For nocturnal gaming, the 92 mm FrostBlade fan keeps noise to a minimum
  • Game your way by playing with the overclocking, fan speeds and RGB lighting in the Predator BiFrost Utility app
  • A HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 2.0s give you loads of options – go for 8K or team up 4 monitors

so where does this sit in comparison to the more well known cards? 3060ti? 1080ti?

Expect slightly better performance over the 1080 Ti.

Caveat being you need to have a machine with ReBAR support. (edited)

Is this even worth buying for gaming?

Very bad idea. Go find a used 3080

Everything Intel right now is just no good for gaming...

I mean more expensive cpu and then you need a 1000+ psu to even keep it awake!

The these gpus... yikes... can get 4060ti for this price and it blows it away

Do you have a link for a 4060ti? Around that price

How are these for rendering in blender anyone with experience?

Make sure your PC supports Resizable BAR before you buy one of these.

Time machine comments aside, I paid £320 for the reference version of this a year ago.

Around 6 months ago I picked up the 8GB ASRock version for £190 from ebuyer on eBay, new, on one of those whatever% off deals.

If you can get a good price on them, the caveats with these cards are well worth the hassle. £299 is not that price point.

they have started to hold their price a lot sadly.

i have the intel A380 in my server for transcoding. best decision ever. My 10th gen cant decode AV1 and i've moved my library over to save some space.
these GPU manufacturers need to get less greedy

I really wanted to like this card when I purchased it - but it’s still full of bugs, compatibility, power consumption and other issues.
I’ve since purchase a 4060ti and it’s just a much more refined experience.
It is a semi capable card though and heat added. (edited)

These are great, from an industry perspective, but best avoided unless you need their specific strengths.

This long term might not be a good buy as rumour is the new Arc's will have the same price as these, yet be significantly more powerful. No date on when the new ones drop, but wouldn't be shocked if it was some point this summer.
