Is there much difference over the original buds pro?
    neelsn007's avatar
They're smaller and a bit more comfortable because of the shape but not a massive difference in sound quality.

Got these with the s24 ultra and I must say I'm actually disappointed in them. Maybe just my ears but they simply sound like something is lacking and I can't pinpoint what. I've adjusted equalisers etc but still feel the same something is off. The active noise cancelling still allows noise in beside roads etc. The ironic thing being a set of cheap boltune ones I got off Amazon a couple of years ago sound vastly better personally and they were less than 20 quid 🤷

That's interesting as I thought the opposite. I had tried £60 Ankers, J Labs, then some £100 LG's and finally a set of mid range xiaomi's and found the Galaxy Buds2 Pro far superior. I mean night and day better and the closest I have found to the sound of full over ear ANC headphones like the XM4 and QC45's etc.

They also come well reviewed by Crinical, which is a difficult thing

But like you say everyone's ears are different. Maybe I'm alone in thinking they sound way better then the £99 price tag

Great ear buds, good base sound and loud of settings via the equaliser. (edited)

I bought these last year for £49 (with various discounts). I don't think I'd pay much more for them tbh. I wear them daily for around 50mins when walking. Sound is decent enough, but ANC is nowhere near the quality of the Sony XMs. They fit pretty snug in the ear, albeit feeling though they'll fall out. The left tends to make my inner ear sore but that's more than likely my ears fault, as the right is fine. Charging case is nice and compact, easy enough to carry in your pockets. I probably have to charge the case twice a month with daily usage (edited)

I don't think your ears are at fault for being sore. I have just returned mine, less than a year old, yep they are great for me but looking on a few forums the itchy ear problem is caused by the nickel inside the mechanics, some people are easily sensitive. I am now currently looking for alternatives. But I do think if I didn't have the ear itching issue I like these because they are light and otherwise comfortable to wear.

I had a set of these, lovely sound earphones . however they are very shallow within the ear canal. so if you have deep ears they're probably not so good.

Yes, unfortunately, I fall into this category.

I usually use Bose QC45s and Apple Airpod Pros but got the Buds2 Pro for free with my Tablet S9 or Watch 6 (can't remember which) last year and I've honestly been so surprised at how good they. The sound, especially the bass is better than the Airpods and having multiple gestures is so convenient. The Airpods have better ANC but the Buds are a much better all round package, especially if you have a Samsung handset.

I have the same opinion as you. I daily drive QC 45's and I have been searching for a small in ear supplement to them and after a long search, I found the Buds Pro 2. I couldn't be happier. They stay put through running and the gym and they are the closest to the sound of my 45's I have found in an in ear. Yes they aren't perfect but they are vastly better then all the other in ears I have tried.

If I hadn't bought the Sony WF1000XM5's recently, these would have been a contender. Heat for the price!

Sound good. But these buds caused issues in my ear. They like damaged the skin and caused leakage and scabby ears. I Googled it and turns out its potentially the nickel in the charge spots causing irritation. I went back to using my Sony buds. Hoping the next gen 3s are better.

Crap. Always fall out. They used to be my go to. Then I bought the OnePlus Buds Pro and never looked back. Also have the Nothing Ear 2 and they are great. Good sound quality across all 3.

    Which have the best ANC?

Is this better then buds 2?

Rumours that buds pro 3 coming this year, i've got the pro 1's not sure if really worth the upgrade but this is decent deal
    neelsn007's avatar
Having owned both, it's not worth the upgrade if you're happy with the Pro 1s

Basically confirms Buds 3 Pro coming in Summer.
