Good headphones but bass-heavy. No good for voice or classical.

Excellent value for this money. Sound wise they are pretty good. IMO they are worth it for the noise cancelling alone
Mine came in sealed retail packaging and look brand new.

Anyone used these in the gym? My wife is after a pair of headphones that she won't mind getting beaten up a bit. Comfortable? Would they stay on for cardio work? (edited)

Can't see anything about what is refurbished, maybe because they have a lot of them (which then adds concern that these break easily in one way or another).

Or perhaps they're just damaged box returns from Amazon or something?

Probably returns, you might get mine ....I thought they sounded awful and returned them. They were £35.99 new, end of January 2024 when I bought mine. I have MPOW H18'S.....they blow these out of the water. I don't get the great reviews at all, they are very average sounding headphones. 52378114-NlCzk.jpg

I bought some recently and was ok with the sound quality... then I watched something on Netflix and was getting the odd vibration sound from them.. emailed to complain and they sent me out a replacement set and told me to keep the old ones.

Would have bought if not refurbished

I have these, I must have a funny shaped head cos they aren't too comfortable if you keep them on for more than an hour. Sound is bass heavy, even after fiddling with the Soundcore app. Good for music, not so much for spoken word
