How do we get the booster boxes for free?

VM Connect app. If your WiFi speeds are below the minimum guarantee in parts of your home they’ll let you order them. Free for Volt or Gig1/2 customers. £8 a month for everyone else.

Just so people are aware double speed boost is only up to 1gig. So if you take out a 1gig plan then you will not get an increase to 2gig. Therefore you would be better opting for the 500mb service and get the speed boost to 1gig free. Would save you a little bit in your monthly charge as well. (edited)

Can’t be that many competitors at 1gig, I’ve a few friends who still only get 56mbps

Where is this volt where I need to click. A WiFi booster will be helpful

If you have a volt package or Gig1/2 package then you can request one in the VM Connect app if it scans around your house and finds that your speeds are below the minimum guarantee.

Not really a deal - this is just the way it works, permanently. Since 2021.

Worth mentioning now and again though. It was one of the reasons I went with the sim deal on O2 with less data

Double data double headache with o2

The only slight problem is............... that the O2 coverage is so poor I think it's impossible to use your allowance.

Worth it for the broadband speed boost - I guess.
