    We have this one habitat.co.uk/pro…605 excellent quality and end grain also (like all true butchers blocks). Limited stock in stores now though (some larger Sainsbury's have them in-store also). (edited)

    Bamboo is good, but it will blunt the hell out of your knives quicker than other woods

    Alternative that's none plastic an sub £40 ...I'm actually after 47x47x3 but struggling an thought this was decent price for others

    We got one and had to throw it in the bin after afew weels honestly. Looked nothing like in the picture and the wood was not even a single block

    I've got 3 of these & paid £12 for each of them about 7 years ago! I wash them using a sponge & fairy liquid or antibacterial wipes. I use them as a cutting/chopping board with the really sharp Victorinox knives & they still look good! Solid & well worth the money, in my opinion.
