The Q 5040 is now £499,the Q 5020 is now £299 and the Q 5010 is now £249.

Peter Tyson has received factory refurbished stock of the entire Q Acoustics 5000 range in stock - these can be combined to make a full AV speaker package. These are designed to do better in smaller rooms closer to wall.

These get good overall reviews and comes complete with a 5 year warranty! Peter Tyson also has three showrooms here where you can book a demo.

Consider youtuber reviews and especially what-hifi reviews with a pinch of salt. Audio is very subjective. best to go listen to them in person before buying. audiosciencereview.com is better for an object review based on measurements.

The 5020 are objectively bad. I assume you're aware of ErinsAudioCorner who also owns a Klippel NFS.

I would also personally be looking at other options than the 5040.

I'm still running Tanoy Mercury FC system 2 x floor standers 2 x book shelf and centre speakers.

Had them for over 15 years and keep thinking should i upgrade or not, would something like this offer so much more?

Listened to bookshelf version of these and didn't take to them when I bought my current set up. (Incidentally ended up going down entirely different route in end - PSB alpha IQs which I'm properly in love with)
