If anyone goes to Rome, our favourite steak house is Kilo in via Tirso, near the Buenos Aires tram stop - filletto di lingotto varies from great to off the chart! The 'cheesy chip' is a very interesting side, with a cheese sauce (recommend sharing it as a full portion gets a bit rich). A nice 5 to 10 minute dander takes you to Il Romano for a simple Fiordilatte gelato! Absolute heaven. If looking a budget meal, have a try at La Piadineria near the French embassy is very good for a piadina (like a wrap) - possibly the Italian version of subway.

A steak house called kilo near Buenos Aires... should be easy to remember.

Good prices but you’ll need to take out a mortgage for hotel & expenses in US

I remember the good 'ol days of open jaws - missus and I travelled Edi - Rome - Rio - NYC - Ams (had to get an EJ flight Ams back to Edi which was perfectly fine) with baggage for under 1k (think it was a deal on here). Saw fam, went to a friends wedding in Rome and all worked out perfectly and that was only 5 years ago inc hotels for under 2k for 6 weeks (ok, used some points at IHG hotels in NYC and stayed with fam in Rio) but crazy how much things have gone up, esp just out and about).

Worth noting it's best to book directly with the airlines for about £5 more, only posted it like this as it's easier to view the itinerary

The price on the linked flights now £348? Not sure if other dates available for the original price. (edited)

Great deal - is there a shorter time option? 7-days is enough time to get round NYC and Rome

Having done both and just come back from Rome, I can personally guarantee you 7 days is nowhere near enough to do NYC and Rome. You want at least a week in each place.

Did everyone get their money back when they went out of business last time?
