I would take that range of tyre sizes with a pinch of salt, 1.75" all the way to a plus size 2.5" is a huge range of compatible tyre sizes. At 2.5" the walls of the tube will be very thin and more vulnerable to punctures. I think normally you would get a range of something like 1.75" to 2.1" and this is over twice that range approaching 3x that range. There is a small percentage of people who have left negative reviews and I suspect that is more about people using it at the higher levels of that range. It's good for the manufacturer and retailer as they can carry less sku's but not so good for end users. Always best to match your inner tubes to the lower end of the scale. I.e. this would be a good match for tyres up to 1.75-1.95"

A while back I compared a Halford's inner tube to a Continental inner tube and the Halford's tubes seemed far better quality I believe the model I was looking at was made by Kenda for Halfords as it was a pre-talced and the manufacturing quality looked really good. The Continental looked like a lower quality CST inner tube in my opinion. A much more basic inner tube that wasn't pre-talced. The Continental was much lighter admittedly it was clearly thinner more stretchable rubber. I personally don't want to save weight in my inner tubes and have to deal with more punctures. If you are weight obsessed with your bike you may feel differently. I find thin lightweight inner tubes often need to be replaced 3x as often as thicker inner tubes which is a huge additional expense over time.
