I bought these a month or so ago (along with their 5x Rainbow Trout fillets) and pretty sure they were £4.99. Ate the rainbow trout fillets pretty quickly (very nice) but as I put these salmon fillets in the freezer in the garage completely forgot about them until I saw the email. Guess what we are having for tea tomorrow?

Works out at just 80p per 100g fillet!

They're always that price in Aldi, though they're not skinless:

(smaller pack, but same price per g).

Yeah they are. I usually go for these.

Wild? Anyone knows where do they come from? Wild fish is expensive normally.

    I am guessing China.

To clarify for everyone this will be pacific salmon which all chefs agree has an inferior taste to Atlantic salmon

Atlantic salmon is what you usually find in supermarkets, and is always farmed

I buy these, great value for the price.
The fillets are a decent size and they cook well.

There is fish... and then there is Fish. Can anybody vouch for this ?? (obviously only if you have actually eaten this)

Yup this is definitely fish, lives in water well lived in there. If it lived on land it would likely be a chicken, hope this helps 🏻

Unfortunately, the quality is really bad.

Been buying the Iceland version for years. It used to be 3 packs of 600g for £10 till 2018 when they knocked off 20% to 480g which is still good price compared to anything else other than farmed salmon.
