    new is around £250-260.
not sure if £60 off is worth the risk for a top end cpu.

Retailer only offers 30-day returns. Even if the processor is within the manufacturer warranty period, AMD is unlikely to honour without original receipt. I'd rather just buy new if I planned to keep for a few years. (edited)

And where in the title does it say its a used product?
Mods are never there when you need them.

True, it should be in the title. You can just report the deal, but it's a bit too late since internet points have already been awarded.

If you're getting for gaming go 5800x3d over this, should be able to get one for £230 used

You should be able to [eventually] get one new for that price seeing as these have been below £240 on multiple occasions.

The same retailer as this "deal" as one for £207.99. Though, lack of warranty will be a factor in me saying it's not worth the risk for the sake of £20 or so below deal price.

How does this compare to the 5600x?

    About 300x's slower.
