I bought these over 18 months ago from Amazon for around this price and I chose them because I specifically wanted in-ear Bluetooth headphones that I could easily take in and out while gardening/doing DIY etc without dropping one of them as they hang round your neck. I mostly listen to podcasts and they sound absolutely fine and I’d say they’re good value at this price if you need to have headphones with the cable behind your neck. For running I use separate buds as the cable does pull a bit but for pottering about without the risk of dropping a bud these are good.

These are great for me in the gym, means if one pops out my ear I don't lose it!

But the cable at the back does get in the way on the bench sometimes

I had some jaybird ones in this style and they were great for running

    They are meh earphones.
They work fine and haven't broken in the year or 2 I have had them but I wouldn't pay £33 for them. Maybe find something else that is true wireless.

These also have odd issues with playing audio while the mic is on (it sounds very very bad when you try) but I don't fully know if that is an android issue or something.

The mic thing usually applies to all headphones as they switch to mono audio when on calls etc also I believe these headphones were available for the cost of shipping for students

What do you mean by true wireless?

I paid 60 for these in the airport a couple of years ago. Decent headphones but I find the cable far too heavy so it pulls the buds out of your ears when running etc.

Had 3 of these and all broke within days!

I’ve had four (three BeatsX and one Beats Flex)

The BeatsX I got one for free and then two as replacements. They all had battery issues and died fairly quickly (3 months to almost a year).

The Beats Flex lasted a bit longer, but eventually died too (one side stopped working). This one was out of warranty so I didn’t get it replaced by Apple.

    That’s all I’ll say. (edited)

I’ve had a pair of these since release day. They are my back up headphones. The sound isn’t to bad and battery life is about 12 hours. Worth thirty three quid imho.

I’ve had three pairs of these, the battery in them lasts about a year/year and half.. excellent price - well worth it

I just bouggt one off eBay second hand, I tried other headwear, theaij benefit of these beats, is that I can hear my own voice when making calls? If that makes sense? It's weird coz I cannot seem to make any phone calls now that I've tried calling with beats

Just turned up. First impressions are that they're better than I was expecting. Fun listen with the emphasised bass.

    Solid value for around £30.

How are these for latency, is video lip sync good, I love neckband form factor, so much better than true wireless for my needs, my current neckband set is so old its basically falling apart and on its last legs, but holding on to them as most new neckband options seem to be worse.

Bought these two years ago and use them more or less everyday for 4 hours+, battery still going strong.

But I've always had issues when taking a call, the other person can never hear me clearly so have to disconnect Bluetooth to talk. I've never had a conversation with these on. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this or maybe I just have a dodgy set? Have always used with android/Samsung btw.

Recently went through the tumble dryer so left side has stopped working and wires exposed but right side works perfectly. Will be buying again but pretty sure I paid £29.99 for them at the time.

Woohoo, Currys live chat agreed to price match. Took 24 hours for them to authorise it but apparently can’t use it till 7.30am tomorrow. (edited)

    Thanks OP just received mine.

However, mine are showing a warranty expiry date of 1 Nov 2024 - anyone else seeing less than a year?

edit: if yours are also wrongly warranty dated log into your Apple ID and update the purchase date there. (edited)
