    moving house soon and will be looking at a nicer tv setup. What are the pros of this vs a pair of good book shelf speakers with 1" tweeter and 5.5 or 6.5" woofer, plus an 8 or 10" subwoofer?

    A subwoofer is better for films that dig down past 50hz or so.
    If you're watching a lot of films, get standmounts and a sub.

    Most music doesn't go lower than 50hz, so tower speakers are better for music as the sound is all produced from a single source and therefore the timbre and tonality is consistent. (edited)

    Great speakers for that price. Have a 7.1 Atmos system all Dali and the sound I get is fantastic.
