Have had mixed experiences with Emma, ordered a mattress an frame a year or two back and smooth experience. But last order for a frame late last year was a nightmare. They seem to have abandoned any customer support in UK, there was no way at all to contact them so had to do a chargeback.

Is this number for their customer service not any good?

Have been considering an Emma mattress but reading recent Trustpilot reviews it seems things are going downhill fast - 19% off reviews are 1 star

I bought the Emma Premium in July 2022 and it has started to go soft at the edges and has developed what we call a hernia. I followed the online steps to contact Emma and as it was purchased prior to October 2022 I was redirected to another site that informed me to contact my credit card as the company was liquidated in October 2022 and they cannot cover the warranty and it was unlikely anyone with a warranty issue would be recompensed. I need a new mattress after 20 months so I will be steering clear of Emma

Are you sure it’s not Eve you bought?

Quote from their website description of this mattress:

" On a scale from 1 (firm) to 10 (soft), the Emma NextGen is a 7 (medium) mattress."

If 10 is the softest, I don't understand how 7 can be medium or medium-firm?

I’m going to be in the market for a new mattress quite soon so I’m interested in the options although I’m not keen on these mattress in a box varieties. However this mattress seems quite well reviewed in the examples in the links mentioned in the above post. These mattresses also to have received considerable awards however I’m still not convinced! Can anyone offer any experience or expertise in this area particularly for suggestions of more traditional sprung mattresses? I think the businesses that solely sell mattresses must have a considerable markup to support their large premises and staff so there must be outlets that can cut these costs and sell cheaper? Maybe at the expense of customer service? Thanks in advance.

If you watch out for a special offer and discount codes you can get some of them selling at £1000 for half the price. I paid £450 for mine and my sister in law paid £1140 two weeks before me.

Very tempted, anybody know what these are like long term? Current mattress is over 20 years old and needs replacing

Emma mattresses are generally highky rated. The NextGen Premium was launched last year so a bit early to say about their long term performance but these come with a 10 year guarantee.
