I don’t bother with Deliveroo anymore after having just one too many issues with orders and their blanket / flat no refunds/partial refund policies.

Example - £120 order for family occasion, about a third of it turned up. What did turn up was stone cold. Deliveroo offered to refund the missing items but nothing offered for the cold food. Then when I worked out the actual cost of the refunded items, they were around £20 out!

I order direct with the restaurant now if I’m having a takeaway treat and pick it up myself. The cost of convenience isn’t worth it anymore with these types of companies.

While I don't mind free stuff, the same orders on Ubereats are often cheaper than Deliveroo

Haven’t used Deliveroo in a long time as Uber is always giving 50 or 40% off. Often Uber one is free for a month or three. When I do have 50% off, I just pay for a month of Uber one and make up with using the 50% off 2/3 times at least

Cheaper for me to order delivery directly from my local Chinese takeaway by ringing them up

I have noticed recently that deliveroo has started charging a service fee of £2.49 on every order, which basically negates the benefit of fee delivery. Very cheeky

Companies like booking.com, deliveroo and groupon already place themselves between the retailer and customer to take a massive chunk of the retailers revenue - and then to start charging the customer an admin fee to do it??

It is a bloody good business model.

Don’t deliver to my home address, but might see if they do something worthwhile at my late dad’s place when I go up this week.

Don't forget the airtime rewards cashback on visa orders too

Never used deliveroo much until I moved to Dorset. Much more choice on this compared to the others

I've had this for 2 years I think and never used it as the prices and fees are shocking.
