Good offer on this 12 pack of Leffe Blonde, reduced to £13 with Nectar at Sainsbury's.

£16.50+ elsewhere so looks to be a good offer currently.

Leffe is far more than a beer. It’s a place. A community. A history.

For centuries, the Abbaye de Leffe has welcomed all with open arms. And ever since it was first brewed in 1240, so has the world-famous beer that bears its name.

Dry, fruity, delicately malted beer with a subtle bittersweet finish and a creamy head.

  • This pack contains 12 x 330ml bottles of Leffe Blonde Belgian Abbey Beer, 6.6% ABV, imported from Belgium and would make for a great Craft Beer Gift for all Beer lovers
  • Smooth, subtle and golden in colour, Leffe Blonde is an elegant, smooth and fruity Belgian Abbey style beer
  • It has a spicy aftertaste with a hint of bitter orange
  • While this is a perfect aperitif beer, it also tastes delicious with a wide variety of dishes, especially red meat, sweet and sour dishes and white mould cheese, such as Camembert, Brie, Brillat-Savarin or Saint-Marcellin
  • Leffe Blond is best served at 5-6°C in a beer chalice, which will allow all the flavours to come through
  • Leffe was founded by the Fathers of the Abbey in 1240 and their craft, expertise and brewing tradition can still be enjoyed today

Not a top 10 Belgian Beer (by a distance) ,but a gentle introduction to the Belgian style of beer for those seeking alternatives to mainstream Lagers.

Apparently the "nectar price" is for online only.
Don't make the same mistake as I who trotted down to Sainsbury's early doors to try and nab some at £13.00.
Only good thing was that the staff I my Sainsbury's had failed to take down the £14.00 price tag from 22nd March so after a bit of a battle I got my two boxes for £14.00 each.

Can you check store stock? I’ve never seen this size box in my local store

Just got some in store. Shelf label shows the full price with the nectar price next to it. Scanner gun showed full price, got to the till assuming it would come down in price and didn't work. Told at the till I now need to download the app and I will get a £3 refund on it. I don't understand why they can't override the price on the till.

That would be surprising, did it work?

In this scenario, I'd go to customer services and request the difference or return item for full refund.
