This has been listed on Lego as a retired set for about 6 years but they still keep producing them for Hamleys.

Yes, its also sold at the Leicester Square store and possibly Battersea.

Still in production for limited retail, likely to be for a few years until a re-release or another similar product released.

I know the price is the price and this is a reduction but it still seems dubious value considering a Speed Champion set can be had for £3 more.....but of course, that's not a London bus! (edited)

Yeah.... the London bus was also an exclusive to some stores. Maybe that's why. I may be wrong

Probably because it's retired by lego now.

I recall seeing a load of these in the London Leicester sq store can't recall the price but there were loads around Jan time. I still have the larger creator one I've not opened yet.

I'm on the hunt for that at a descent price

It's a nice little set but not worth more than £10, maybe £12 with inflation.

My wife picked one up in the Lego store in London a few weeks back for about £8.

$9.99 on Lego.com in the US. Sure this is technically retired over here now, but that doesn't make overinflated prices a good deal so cold from me

I just brought one of these in Lego land for £8
