Does anyone know if the decals are printed or if they're stickers?

    Is the price excluding VAT?
    sams3000's avatar
Yes, the price includes vat. Costco do not sell Lego above retail price

Anyone who's got this know if it's similar to the McLaren? That was a fun build

looks a very similar build from images/reviews and steering function bit more complex

Wheels and the totally unrealistic banana curve towards top of front nose has meant I won't be buying this one, such a shame another opportunity for lego to do an iconic F1 car and it fails in the simplest of details

always going to be compromises with lego, if it is instantly recognisable to most ppl they have done a good job, like the mclaren this has a few issues but sure will be an enjoyable build

Yes still issues with tyres but a step forward at least, just need printed tyres and wider rears next time, at least nearly the same size as the mcclaren so will fit nicely together

    don't mention stickers  (edited)

Your opportunity to commemorate a truly awful car, hey maybe don't follow the instructions completely and sort out its handling.

I will wait till the price drops to £110..same as the McLaren one

Unless you really like overpaying for stuff or can't wait, recent evidence demonstrates that most lego sets are reduced by 30-45% about 6-12months after release.

Equally a lot of Lego stuff goes up. Many a set costs quite a bit more than it did a few years ago. AKA the BMW motorbike & Land Rover, just a couple of examples. Yes they did actually come down through offers here and there back in time but now they have shot up.

That sucks, for £165 I'd expect the decals to be printed!
    Mastermaster's avatar
yep, will buy but needs to be a lot closer to £100

Might have been better if they had a mini Lego Lewis in the driving seat
