Upgraded from the ninja pressure OP550 model (without the probe), to this smartlid model with probe last summer.

The new combi mode on the OL750UK is really nice for a reasonably fast roast meal (taste marginally nicer than the old 'pressure cook only + air fry after' recipe imo; also no fuss with lid swap in between). Managed to find a tasty/simple/no fuss beef stew recipe on YouTube too:

The temp sensor is good when experimenting / learning (or on the stuff that definitely has to reach the temp e.g. whole chicken or beef) but can be less useful once you're used to it (or are running simpler recipes / or if running on the alternative airfry mode e.g. lamb chop); the cooker is a bit of a cumbersome object and definitely takes spaces; that said, my oven usage has dropped massively since getting this (lower electric cost & way faster for some). The airfry function is superb.

Vs the old dual lid model, it's much easier to do some functions especially if in a space limited area imo. Not sure if this OL750UK (15 in 1) is actually a tiny bit slower than the previous dual lid model though. Feels pressuring is a tiny bit slower.

Personally, it's a very good price, though probably not something I'd buy refurb (imagine most are probably only damaged box tho), just weary myself, in case the previous people messed up the heating element or dented it - it's heavy/ hassle to return.

Also having the longer manufacturers warranty new imo is worth more (your mileage may vary) - ended up recommending the ninja to a few friends; ninja wasn't able to help with servicing a friend's OP550 that stopped working shortly after warranty expiry, luckily they ordered direct online, they've just given them 50% vouchers on the 750UK; another ordered from argos, had issue out of warranty duration (ninja weren't able to help nor assist with any voucher); my old 550UK is still perfectly fine though 2+ years on), imo it's a very electronic device - unlike the traditional stove based pressure cooker, once it's gone, it's likely beyond economic repair (new can sometimes be not much more in the super limited promos around BFCM etc if you have the patience).

That said at this price, I would struggle to find something better imo & getting this sooner can save time / marginally improve the quality of life (by making some food simple/faster/more accessible to prep). (edited)

I've heard refurbished ones of these ninja cookers are really bad. Anyone got any experiences with them?

Bought the air fryer (flex drawer AF500) and it was perfect except it came in a plain box and no cook book. Neither a big issue as the price reduction was significant. (edited)

We love ours. The 'steam air fry' for home cooked chips is a game changer, as it keeps the inside of the chips, potatoes, even pies etc far more moist and nice. Pressure cooking is great for daal's etc

Steam Roast is great for meat joints. Even better than the Steam air-fry I used on the old 14 in 1.

Well, I'm certainly an absolute chump for laying out on one of these to replace the OP300K. Paid £75 more than this for a new one a year ago and haven't once used any of the extra functions I've "gained"!

It's externally bigger and noisier but there's no appreciable increase in the internal cooking area. Wish I had kept my old one and save my money! What on earth made me think I'd be drying fruit or making yogurt!? I've never even used the temperature probe!

Some people like having the security and comfort of those extra functions.

That being said I was tempted to cancel my Amazon order for the 11 in 1 which is brand new, to go for this but I decided I wouldn't make use and miss those extra functions. The additional warranty of the brand new product and it being brand new were worth paying extra for after I had a bad experience ordering this same refurbished unit only a few days ago before this deal came along.

I bought one of these and wished I hadn't. After a year it developed a fault where it couldn't tell if the temperature probe was plugged in or not. This despite me not ever having used the probe! Anyway it refused to do anything, not air fry not pressure cook, nothing. Just displayed the message 'plug in' meaning the probe. Ninja, want nothing to do with it after the warranty has expired so I now have a very expensive bit of landfill. I've tried googling a fix but it seems there are loads of people with the same problem but no easy fix. The explanation that sounds most plausible is that the wiring loom that passes through the hinged lid gets damaged with each opening and closing of the lid and this fault occurs. One person had successfully fixed it by taking the thing apart but sadly did not post a guide on how to do this...

Anyway, they cost a lot and are prone to failure so I would recommend steer clear, get a simpler (and cheaper) one. (edited)

Hmm. I've got a problem with the sensor on mine and get the "add pot" message a lot, when the pot is added. If you get this message once then send it back asap, it won't get better. I wouldn't buy from them direct as their customer service is absolutely rubbish. You might get a bit more joy buying through ebay though.

    Tefal seems a better deal
