I use press reader app, I just put in my library card number and can read any newspaper or magazine for free and it's all legit. pressreader.com

That's the best way to read newspapers.

I must say I am surprised this gets down voted. Whether or not people like the Telegraph or not or have differing political views. It’s hard to deny that £1 per month for a reputable paid news service is a great deal and a huge discount for those buying newspapers or paying for competing subscriptions. That’s supposed to be what this site is about anyway.

Anything political gets voted down. It's not even as if there is a right political stance that would be voted up or a price that would be cheap enough.

If you have a MBNA credit card -their Smart Rewards scheme is currently giving £15.00 cashback on Telegraph subscriptions.
I used the £12.00 O2 priority offer back in September & got the £15.00 cash back the next month.

These are the kind of deals I'm with o2 for? A discount for 12 months of the torygraph? Couldn't pay me to read this rubbish, wish they'd put more effort into improving their service than giving us stuff like this.

Out of interest what is your go to news provider? I wouldn’t say the telegraph is my only news source at all. But some of the articles are better than the free news providers.

Completely agree. I've never known a single person to win a prize.

why would anyone subscribe to such biased drivel.

Sometimes it's good to read, learn and try understand perspectives that are different to yours. If you politically agree with more than about 50% of what you are reading your worldview and perspective is getting smaller and smaller.

It's so crazy how nobody really pays for newspapers anymore. The digital age really caught up to a lot of these companies and it seems they didn't adapt quick enough

Basically… everyone steals the news and no one pays for it.
very hard to compete against that.
    Even paywalls don’t work
