Did anyone ever get a response to their email regarding this? UPDATE... got it! Btw I’m a frontline nhs worker and taking up this offer. I can quite happily read their paper for free and still support NHS. People need to chill out a bit regarding what they will and won’t read. Just because you read such and such paper doesn’t mean you believe every word they say.

DeanySevigny

Haven’t they suffered enough?

yorkie

Perhaps but not for the same cost. As a nurse with 20+ years experience, my experience is that beuracracy increases exponentially with every top down political reorganisation. More and more managers are employed to micro manage whilst at the same time bean counters employed to massage targets. Despite all this we still spend less than say Germany per person on health care.

WeeWifie

Oh not at all! Not evidence at all. And I've had vastly worse experiences in the NHS. I just presumed, wrongly, it would be all singing fantasticness in paid healthcare. But it seems there's mega issues there too, even if you're insured to the hilt and paying co-pays.

GnosticPrime

So the redeem link they sent says already redeemed, any ideas?

Lol Yeh I totally forgot about the dozen phone calls you need to make in order to actually leave! They do love a hard sell. This year I was lucky with the one call as I kept interrupting the guy until he put me through to where I needed to go.

ryouga

I was with Three for 8 years, only changed last summer as their idea of a "deal" was to increase my bill by £2 a month, or go from unlimited calls and texts and 8 gig of data for £8 a month to 200 minutes , 1 gig of data for £7 a month telling me I didn't use the data or minutes. Its because I have unlimited landline minutes and fast internet but the few times I do need it I can use a lot i.e if I go on holiday and theres no free wifi or the free wifi signal is terrible, or just slow it makes dial up seem fast or I am on bus/train for long period with no wifi. I remember telling them it was cheaper for me to get a new sim, cashback and port my number out and back in and they just told me (though polite) thats the best way to deal with it I suppose the worst thing was each year it took about 8-12 calls to get anywhere with cancellations/retentions even last year when I asked to cancel as I got a good sim free/cashback offer with another network they kept trying to sell me new phones and sims and I kept saying no I want to port out and they kept telling me "No wait, I can get you a good deal" rather than put me through and never backing down, a few of them were quite irate with me saying "we are only trying to get you a good deal" Oh and that reminds me, I never got back my final bill, I was actually like 1 day into the payment month so due like 29 days back from them. I should ring.

freyabo

Thanks for your helpful reply. I'm with Three on a SIM only deal, and had hoped the awful current 'speeds' might be fixed by using a router. I bought a tablet six weeks ago, planning to use it online via my phone's hotspot, as I had done last year with my old tablet. No chance, average speeds 1.71K/s to zero. I don't know what has happened to their service, I've been with them for three years, speeds quite good, but last few months have been virtually unusable. My contract is nearly up, so time to look for a new provider. Also, have so far found it impossible to contact customer support since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, notice on Three's site states Indian Govt. regs limits hours offices can stay open. I sympathise with your situation. Since you are able to get through to cs, you should insist on speaking with the next level of support. Three must surely cancel your broadband router contract. Good luck.

M3NDEREZ

If you value your sanity, don't bother. The connection is so ridiculously unstable, it's laughable. Throttling during peak times bring speeds down to a crawl. The location of the router can give you 'excellent' signal strength one day (according to the associated app), then poor the next, meaning you need to move it for a stronger reception. I get a very unstable 3MB down, though uploads are better at around 10MB. Streaming anything in 4K is near impossible. HD buffers several times during an hour long show. Downloading a PS4 or Xbox game takes on average 48 hours. If all of that weren't enough, the customer care is based in India and scripted, so utterly unhelpful and impossible to deal with. I'm stuck paying £25 a month for nearly another year for a product that barely works. Three simply don't care, they will make no attempt to fix it, nor offer a reduced charge for such a poor reception. They'll be losing both of our phone contracts and our broadband thanks to the abysmal service.

After letting my subscription lapse, I've just had a call from the Telegraph on 01634888000 offering me a year's subscription for £1 a week. I still turned it down; seems expensive after paying £50 for a year with a gift of a £50 Amazon voucher last year.

jg213

Unfortunately I didn't do that and I forgot to cancel. Contacted them the day after renewal payment was taken and they said I couldn't cancel.

yorkshiretightass

As it's an annual membership (1 payment for the year) you can cancel your subscription as soon as you've paid. This is what I do every year since they offered the Google Home freebie and a year subscription for £50 in 2017 £75 Amazon voucher in 2018 for £100 subscription. £50 Amazon voucher in 2019 for £100 subscription. Once payment is made I cancel, which means my subscription remains valid until the end of the year and I'm liable for the following years Christmas offer. As for folks dismissing the telegraph... Who cares!? This is a deals website. Keep your echo chamber-esq rantings to Twitter where some folk may give a hoot. The mere fact you have used your time to tell complete strangers that you don't like a newspaper really does highlight how sad you truly are. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Waitrose has a current DT digital offer, they're dishing out vouchers with telegraph.co.uk/mywaitrose to My Waitrose card holders. 60 days fee online/app. You have to put in valid payment details (also accepts PayPal recurring payments) so obviously DT is hoping for a bit of inertia selling. And you cannot cancel online, it's phone based. Guess why. Well I signed up yesterday and couldn't see how any validation that I'm a MW member is done. Maybe through the home address? Might be worth a spin for some. I've found a proper app based newspaper that you can read on a tablet nice to have on holiday abroad. For anyone who doesn't know the DT beyond its politics, I find the motoring, house and home and financial sections to be better than any other UK newspaper. Some reasonable travel articles too.

Thank you, this deal is still working! Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow T4 is £35 to buy in-advance on their website and £40 on the day to walk up, so saved £15-20! :) Only slight downside is, you are not actually buying access to a particular lounge on a particular day, where if you go to other (more expensive websites) they guarantee access for the the time and date you requested in the booking! This gives you a voucher to provide you with access, but if the lounge is busy on the day, they can turn you away, but the voucher is valid for a year to use at any of the websites 100+ airport locations!

glenngal

Thanks for this, it's still working - just saved me £8 per pass :-)

cheekychops21

I have used Dragon pass vouchers several times at Newcastle Aspire Lounge. First time was great, as it was an early flight & lounge was quiet, 2nd time it was a Friday afternoon, lounge was busy so we had to wait half an hour & paid for drinks in 1 of the bars while we waited. You are not guaranteed entry if lounge is busy, but you can request a refund if you won't use it within 12 months...... Unless T&C's have changed

Cheers OP. Considering this for Stansted on Weds as that is one airport that you could do with any sort of refuge from.

Would subscribers please check their next billing date under subscription details, as I think there is a glitch with telegraph/veryme - mine is showing as July 2020. I subscribed to the 30 day trial a couple of weeks ago and yesterday I activated the VeryMe 2 months free digital access. Actually I’ve no idea if it happened or not. After I followed the veryme ‘no code needed’ link there was an option for new account or existing customers so I chose the latter and logged in. That took me to an empty dead page with no acknowledgement just a ‘All Digital Access 2 months’ in a box to the right. As it was a dead end I went to check my subscription details and the next billing date is July 2020. I didn’t check the status before the veryme link so can be totally certain that it’s the culprit. I guess if it’s not connected to veryme offer than a lot more accounts would be affected and it might get spotted pretty soon There are 3 days left on the veryme offer so hopefully others can try and see if it works for them too
