Lesson learned...use the paper stamps next time lol

SteMoss

Me too (lol) (lol) . You win some you loose some.

Redbu11

Something like that! The annoying thing is I had stamped cards in my account!

SteMoss

More than 20 then but less than 100 (lol) (lol)

Let's say a few over the last year! But I got blocked straight after using this.

Eventually after several phone calls got emailed a link. The deal is actually 6 months free and then 6 months at £1 a week (£4.33 a month), You can't have the 6 months free on its own, but have to provide payment details for the second 6 months, but nothing to say you can't cancel at that point.

Catman99

Has anyone got this to work yet?

Has anyone received there’s yet, I’m still waiting about a month and a half later.

I am tempted. How long are you waiting on the device for?

FinbarMcDougal

Good deal, but couldn't stand the shame of being caught reading the Torygraph (embarrassed)

JulianL

Yeah I just checked and the Fitbit is £199. I suppose less than £1 a week, I might have a quick scan of the paper, particularly the sports.

Yeah I do check out both most days, two different world views completely. Shame the Independent just doesn't have the amount of content required, probably the most balanced, apart from the FT, The Times is also quite good considering it's ownership. Unfortunately most of us like to belong to tribes and this leads to political and economic ping pong with resulting poor outcomes all round. Just my opinion of course :D

Newbold

Unlikely. Red-top readers probably.

Newbold

Nope.

MUFCristiano

Has anyone found a decent printable (or with a magazine) World Cup wallchart that includes group tables to fill in? A Google search reveals that almost every wallchart omits this (what I consider to be) crucial feature! It's like there's a black hole disconnect between the group and knockout stages that sucks out the brains of almost every wallchart designer out there :-)

The Gourmet Society bit is pants. It's a very limited number of restaurants compared to the ones on the full GS card and several of the ones listed for Glasgow closed down long ago or no longer accept GS cards.

Went to one in Olympia a few years ago. Great if your looking to go somewhere off the beaten track, as you can talk to a few of companies that specialise in going to where you want go (we were to go to Zambia) under one roof rather than spend a lot of time trawling websites to then find they don't really offer what you want.

Look up social good.

davewave

Labour have had their fair share of daft policies and left wing press, comrade.

Newbold

That's always the argument used against anyone who dares disagree with daft policies and the Tory press isn't it. Don't you think it's a little trite?

davewave

The problem with Liberals is they attack people who disagree with their political leanings as being unintelligent, its quite a childish argument.

And so any sane person should be (anti-The Sun!)

Woogass

Cool, not on defensive, just wondering why. I'd probably be the same over The Sun lol

bleachingshane

Haha, nah, not rich (if I was, I'd probably read the Telegraph and be a nasty person!) and definitely up for free hot beverages where I can get them. I just won't have nowt to do with the Telegraph and their terrible politics (but fair enough to get a free coffee out of them and NOT pay them a penny). And besides, there's no need to get on the defensive about your deal, I voted hot. Before I realised it had anything to do with that terrible newspaper (lol)

Woogass

You must be rich! Don't have to read, just subscribe. Why look on here for bargains if you have the money to not bother?

bleachingshane

Or just go for a coffee and completely avoid anything to do with the Telegraph? I know which option would make me feel cleaner... (skeptical)

cheers - we just got back, nice of him to let us jump the queue :) (we got there over 2 hrs early as traffic was good) my lad seems a perfect candidate for the treatment, all systems go - consultant worked pretty hard for his money today tbh so let's hope treatment's effective

Irrelevant now as technically under (as in 6ft) :)

Gentle_Giant

(I think) I used to know a kid with it; certainly his chest was an odd shape; I dont remember him ever getting grief from anyone; I used to get the most, being so tall that I towered over everyone, even the teachers; but with all the perfect air-brushed images everywhere these days, they feel ugly even when they are perfect. Have a safe trip.

deleted1391139

it's mild pectus carinatum and it seems the only clinic offering brace treatment is http://www.pectusclinic.com/ tbh I could have done without the £3K expense (& the rest, eg hotels) - but my wife got a bee in her bonnet about it & sort of made the worries about our son's self-esteem (it's basically a cosmetic thing) worse for him so now he wants it treated it seems when it's mild like his, many blokes just do some body-building to disguise it anyhoo, my wife wins the argument (as always) :) nae problemo nothing like as serious as yours, I was reading about it... anyway, if it all works out, he won't have any mildly embarrassing explanation to make first time he finds a nice girlfriend and talks her into, well, you know the rest lol btw you're right about knowing more than the doctor on occasion - we got referred to a thoracic hospital doctor and she said it was pectus excavatum, even gave me leaflets on it - it was only when I got home that my wife said, that's not excavatum, it's carinatum etc - I tried to say Doc knows best but was made to phone back our Doc - she listened then said, oh it's carinatum, sorry I got the leaflet mixed up etc! To be fair, it seems you can sort of have both at the same time & it's mild (so doesn't show so clearly) - the guy we're seeing tomorrow must be one of the UK's top experts in this condition so we'll see what he has to say...to be continued... :)
